Questions & Answers

The Kobalt 80V 2 should work with this product. Do they have a 0Ah Lithium Ion Battery that you can buy from Lowe's as well?

Batteries share the same internal components. some difference in the groove of the two batteries, the Kobalt has a slightly higher groove. The groove in the Kobalt battery has to be modified, or the bump in the Greenworks battery slot needs to be modified.

Do you know if this is self-propelled?

I would like to inform you that the GreenWorks MO80L510 is self-propelled.

A two-processor home computer is estimated to run for around two hours. A 4.0 Ah battery and a 0 Ah battery is required. What is the battery capacity of 0 Ah?

The fully charged version of my The 0Ah battery lasted about 45 minutes, long enough so that I could mow my 1/4 acre, then power the leaf blower to clean the mower (but only 1/3 light from the battery power meter lit up). As for the string trimmer, I don't have it yet, but I imagine it has enough power for it, too. However, I plan to buy a 4 as soon as possible. This battery has a capacity of 0AH When it finally becomes available, I will post it here Use the primary battery as the power source, and the secondary battery as the backup. A battery with a capacity of 0Ah serves as a You will need two of these. I figure the extra run time will be useful for any future snow blower. 0Ah batteries would be adequate too, but I figure the extra run time will be useful.

Can you tell me if there is a power difference between the 2AH and 4AH batteries. In reality, the 4AH will take about twice as long to run. ?

The only difference is in the run time, not in power.

Here is something you should be aware of
5/5

Many reviews complain of failures within a few days of buying the product. My take on the situation is presented below. Having worked as an electronic technician before, I am aware of the issues. Brushless means a tool is made in a much better way than its traditional counterpart, but the manufacturer makes a sacrifice in doing so. Here's how I'd like to explain it. My hope is that I won't bore you to tears I look forward to speaking with you! It's motor work (you're looking to click away aren't you?) Take a minute to think about it D The rotation of a rotor is induced by a magnetic field. You can do that in a number of ways. When using DC motors (think battery-powered), the most common method is to use an outside magnetic field and a contact known as a stator to connect the outside field to the inside magnetic field such that they are constantly pushing against each other and turning the motor. Motors of this type use brushes to develop that "inside to outside field" connection between the two fields. This plays a role in the rotation of the motor since it rides against the stator. Please refer to the image below for a better understanding of what I am talking about (it's not the motor in the mower. Just one I spotted in my shop for learning There is a problem though, those brushes (made of graphite) will eventually wear out and the motor will no longer work. Motors with brushless technology fix all that by using permanent magnets on the rotor and an electronic circuit to control the external magnetic field. This makes the rotor spin as it chases the outside magnetic field around. It involves the trading of goods and services One of the things I didn't like about it was that there is a fairly complex circuit board in there with a bunch of transistors. Electric cars like the Tesla work in this way. Whenever the controller fails, there is no way to fix the problem, which is why there are reviews that state that "it died totally after xxx time. " In order for the device to work again, it must be replaced. There are companies that have been trying to strengthen the controllers to make sure they last as long as possible. However, as with all electronics, they either work for 20 years or the die within two It's almost as if there aren't any in-betweens. Brushless is better than any other kind of motor because they are just more efficient. It is hard to think of a reason not to buy this mower since it has a warranty for four years. As far as the mower and blower I bought together have gone, I am thrilled with them. I can mow and blow my grass with them just like I used to with my old gas-powered My life will never be the same after I switch from gas to electric!.

The mower is very good
5/5

Some minor issues I dislike. *** Now that it is 2021, the updates have worked well. As rocks, sticks, and other objects hit the blades over the years, I have changed the blades a couple of times. It takes just a few minutes to pull out of the shed, put the battery in, and I never have any problems with it. Charge battery, run about an hour, then use 2nd battery and go for about as long as you like. It may take a little longer to cut tall stuff, so the battery may drain faster. My personal opinion is that gas powered cars are for the birds. Putting out that awful smell, being heavy, being hot, and having that annoying cord pulling! Plus spilling gas, burning gas fumes, dealing with the oil, and then disposing of them. My favorites are battery mowers with two batteries and zero emission - and this one as well. There are a lot of them. To get a straight shaft, I actually went with an EGO carbon fiber trimmer. That's a pretty expensive item. The work is alright, but it needs a D for that part). I have never used a gas weed trimmer so I can't compare it to anything else but the B&D These cordless models can't shave tall clover and other densely rooted plants like those at the back of the EGO's head. B & D I feel my hand tingling after a couple of hours when the D vibrates so much. Using the EGO, I think you can go a lot longer, but it's heavier The following are the previously reviewed data. *

Earlier Compared to other mowers, this is a very good one. Mobile and easy to maneuver. Good for cutting. There was a moderate amount of noise. The low speed might not be noticed if your hearing is very good. Mine is not so good, so I barely notice the sound. If you go fast, you can notice that. The product has almost no odor when it is opened. It takes a while for the charger to start working after being charged a few times. If you go in a room and notice a strange smell, ask yourself "what is it?". I hate it. As a result of charging a number of times, the odor just keeps decreasing. Almost impossible to notice these days. Grass as tall as the motor housing is cut. However, you will want to take it slowly. I found that it has a tendency to wait a few seconds before starting again after killing it in thick grass nearly as tall as the motor (well above the front wheels). This computer starts up instantly on a full battery (until that is exhausted). The batteries last about as long as they are advertised to last. It does not have a clock on it, since by the time one battery is used up, the other is still charged. I tend to pull weeds and stuff (like pine cones) while it is charged. In just a few seconds, I can pull this thing out of the shed, fold the handle into place, put on the bagger, and I'm off. My gas mowers aren't powerful enough to handle what it can do. But this mower works and is easy to use. There are always little bits left over after the mower has cut the grass. In addition to being thick, damp, and difficult to cut, the grass was also very resistant to cutting. Using a gas mower, I'd have to mow the same area twice. The dry grass, even thick dry grass, was cut all in one pass. Please slow down a little if you see pieces not cut off, and it will get them as well. It's nice to have the bagger attachment with the bagger. Grass no longer needs to be raked. I do not have grass clippings on my shoes. It seems to pick up nearly all that it cuts, although I can't see anything down there. A person with better eyesight might be able to see something. As the bag fills up, the weight shifts to the back. The front wheels are easy to remove from the ground. As you move forward you will notice the vehicle is heavier in the back, it takes more effort to move, and it is harder to unwind. A lot of stuff will be left behind (since the bag is full and it can't fit Fill the bag with everything you need and you're ready to go. The mower has everything I need and I am very satisfied with it. Fumes from gas are not present. It doesn't stink in and of itself. Batteries charging on my charger lessen the odor as time goes on (the more batteries I charge, the less smell it has). Since the bag attachment does not require raking, I do not need to carry bags. I can keep working until , thanks to the two batteries. The body in my hands won't go any more. One battery must be used, the other must be charged. Only two batteries are needed to run the device for an apparently endless period of time. There is a chance that one battery may run out faster than the other (such as tall grass) and you might have to wait in between the two. The mower cycles between cutting high and low depending on what it has to do. Automatically performs this task. have found that it can leave some stuff behind when it revs higher. My technique is to pause for a few seconds while the mower is revving up, back up a couple inches, and then forward. This seems to leave no trace behind. When the mower cycles to lower speed on its own, it will do so automatically. When cutting grass above the front wheels, I kept the mower set to low to get the job done. My mower has also been set higher than the front wheels when I have cut grass shorter than the front wheels. The grass characteristics determine the amount of nutrient available to the grass. Additionally, depending on how full the bag is, it depends on how much space is left in the bag. As soon as you fill the bag, you are on high almost all of the time. Changing the bag will make it low again unless you change the bag. It's a no-brainer. It needs to be high because you are in tough grass. There are a few things I dislike, but they There are two knobs on the handle in #1. There is no problem turning these things on. It can be taken on easily as well as off. For example, the bottom of the handle would be better than the top. The pin can be moved by turning the handle in both directions. screw to fall off, no knob to loosen. If it had been like that, the knobs would still have been better than those that can (and do) fall right off when folded and unfolded. As stated in #2, the wire gets tangled in the rear panel. As you lift up the rear panel, the wire gets trapped. If you want to get the hooks on the bag on the mower, you will likely have to rotate the rear panel very vertically. With this type of panel, the wire leading to the starter safety button for the mower is put above the panel. It is not enough to have a sheath to protect that wire from getting caught on the rear panel, but the wire can still move away from the metallic handle. Hence, be sure to watch the wire while lowering the panel. Make sure it is not tangled or it is likely to most likely won't get sliced in two, but I doubt that the wire sheath would like to be clamped down frequently by the rear panel's retaining springs. There is no way to get the stuff out of #3, the bag is hard to empty. If you have a wide-mouth can, you can just lift up the bag and shake it to your heart's content. Is all you have on the ground is a bag? Place the bag over the bagger with grass and flip upside down as you shake it. It then occurs to you that you are shaking the entire weight of the mower in order to get the grass out of it. If you hold the bagger piece upside down, you won't have much grass falling out. We don't have any trouble putting in the grass. It's time to get rid of the grass. There is a delay that is a bother. My method of turning grass into a trash bag is to simply scoop just a little bit each time with my gloved hand, since I am not a body builder who would shake a full bag into a bag. As the bag keeps shifting, so does the bag. I either go everywhere when it gets on me or I'm tired when it gets on me. As long as I don't have to rake, I don't mind spending a few minutes scooping grass and resting. With a little elbow grease, you should have no trouble removing the grass. I have not had success with the side discharge or I will continue to use my bag because I am so happy with it. My gas mower does the same thing. Please quieten down. The exhaust is not fuming. When it needs to rev up, it does so. Those EgoPower mowers look nice as an alternative to your standard mower. Plastic is the most common type of deck. There is a 56V voltage for their equipment instead of the 80V for the mower from Green Works. Ego's handle looks nicer due to its lack of knobs (no offending them). It is neat that the Ego can fold up and be stored on its side. It looks like it has a compact design. I didn't feel like the LED lights on the Ego made any sense until I mowed at dusk tonight. It saves me from having to cover up with suncreen to mow for a few hours. It was easy to see the grass by using my neighbor's yard light (ha ha). There was no sign that he was bothered by it. The Greenworks mower was the one I wanted as it has a metal deck. With my corded greenworks mower, I was able to mow my yard well. Having all these trees and obstacles here got to me as I was tired of the power cord. It's a dream to mow with the battery mower. You won't have to mess with a cord. It's up to me when I mow and where I mow. Easy to do. You won't have to wait long for your battery to charge In less than 30 minutes, it will be So far, I haven't made it back to the station with a flat battery before one of the charging stations A mower with a metal deck for the Ego model on Home Depot was nearly $700. A more reasonable price point was offered by the Greenworks mower. Despite its small size, the corded mower's handle is covered with foam all the way around the corners. When the foam on the battery mower stops at the corners, it is almost impossible to cut it. Although I had expected it to bother me at first, it doesn't bother me at all. There is no issue for me as I don't seem to grab the handle at the corner so I have no problem with it. There was a need to use a different font for Greenworks On the safety bar, there is sticky adhesive for the sticker. There's a sticky gunk on the floor. Since I always wear gloves, it is not a problem for Every time I wash my hands, I think to myself, someday I will get the olive oil out and rub it There is a wrinkle in the sticker attached to the motor housing. However, since it's their brand, the sticker ought to be more appealing. Wow, the handle is folded neatly when not in use. During manufacturing, the metal rubs itself against the paint and wears it away. Be aware that you may get scratches where the knobs are, unless you want it to be handled like a fragile egg. I find it does not rub as tightly when folded. As a result, there are a few minor things I don't like. They are very The mower is used for cutting grass. Is it really necessary to have As far as the job is concerned, it does its It's a good fit for me. A few PSs I both have an ego and an egocentric outlook A metal blade is mounted to a plastic part in Greenworks. My biggest concern was that the blades could simply shear away. Similarly, the metal to plastic part is the same on my corded Greenworks mower. A blade does not fly I don't know what plastic they're using, but it seems to hold up just fine under the stress of an accelerating I may have given the Ego a try if it wasn't several hundred dollars more than this mower with a metal deck. However, if I wanted an extra battery (greenworks is similarly priced), I would have to pay a lot. I'm fine with using as many batteries as the mower has, and I have two already. Yes, this is a long winded explanation. This morning, I mowed long enough to drain two batteries, to weed eat, and to Overall, I'm very happy with the mower. I've used it for multiple hours.

I am not happy with the customer service It has been an hour now since I got on this line
3/5

Oh my gosh! There is a full charge in the battery, but the mower only started for a few seconds before it shut off. My mower ceases to operate when I try to restart it. I hear a beeping noise, and the batteries lights are green, but the mower doesn't initiate. The first time I've used it is just last month, and I bought it then as well. I am not happy with the customer service It has been an hour since I last checked the line! Do not buy this product It is still running after 5 years, I have a Worx electric with the same motor. I don't see a problem. Right now, I am still waiting to speak to customer service. It is a real nightmare to mow with it. In case I need to contact their customer service I will post again A new update on the purchase of this pricey item I finally reached customer service on this issue and was told to take this to a designated lawn mower repair center. Even after struggling to get this 70 lb machine into my car, I am still waiting for this to be repaired so I can use it again. It has been in "repair" for almost 8 weeks and I've yet to cut my first lawn with it! I have updated As of August 15, 2018 == Since I got the mower back after two months in the repair shop, it has been beeping and won't start! I want my money back, or I'm willing to buy another mower. I have never used this defective machine to cut a blade Greenworks can be contacted via the following method The company is acting strangely, what's the deal?.
