My lawn mower works terrifically and I would put it on my list if i needed to buy one A minor shortcoming of this mower is customer support. Last year, the mower would go off and on even when the battery was full. The mower would be powered by releasing the lever and then pressing it again. There was a regular occurrence of this. In my call to the support line, I stated that I thought it was battery-related. In order to get the mower fixed, I needed to take the battery to the repair shop. As they were unable to replicate the problem, they had it for 2 months and informed me there was no issue with the mower. Rather than turning on the mower a couple of times and waiting for an issue to appear, I told them they could probably do something more efficient. During the time when the mower was cutting grass and the battery was under load, I experienced the problem. After checking the mower, I was told it was fine and I was to pick it up. The checkup did not reveal any defects, so I was charged for labor because it was not covered by my warranty. 'Tis mowing season again, and what do you know? Once again, we are confronted with the issue. In the past when it has happened, I just replaced the battery with the smaller one from the trimmer, and everything was fine afterward. As long as the mower runs fine, I'll just buy a new battery. It is possible for Ego to make a great mower, but it needs to improve its customer service.

With normal grass cutting, it is fine, but leaves won't be consumed by it. In the fall, there is no need to rake.

A mechanic recommended this mower as a replacement for my gas mower's engine after it I received my order in two days (thanks to Prime). I had no trouble assembling it. You don't need any tools to make this. A snap of the fingers snaps everything After 36 minutes of charging, the battery was ready to use. A little noise is heard during charging. The noise stops once the battery is fully charged. There is a duplex on a 14-acre lot that I own. Mowing took me a little more than an hour The quadrants of the property took between 15 and 20 minutes each There are 18 minutes left There are nearly 11 trees and three flower beds, as well as a compost bin to mow at Augustine Seville grass. You can start and stop it at any time. As soon as the grass bag is full, the machine turns off. After I completed my work, I saw that the battery indicator was still green. Although it isn't as quiet as a gas mower, it is still much less noisy. I used the mower for the first time today. As far as I can tell, things are going well. About 5 months have passed since I got the mower. This is the first time I have used the product since I bought it right before winter. I had no trouble at all with it in the first month or so. If this happened, the computer would not power on. A customer service representative gave me a few troubleshooting steps, but deemed it to be beyond repair and told me to bring it into a service center. The following are some of the reasons why EGO's customer service failed so badly 1) The first rep told me to contact my local Lowe's to have the repair done since they work with a third There was no one at Lowes who understood what I was trying to say when I called. 1) I called back EGO and spoke with another team member who stated that Lowes no longer has that capability, and that the nearest repair shop is My frustration over driving and dropping off led me to have him verify the repair location after I mentioned my frustration about driving. It turns out that they do not provide customer service anymore. Then I was given a different address to drop off at an hour away. Upon contacting the service center, I was told that they had been receiving a large number of EGOs, all with the same power The most EGO ends up doing is shipping a new one 3 weeks later whenever they try to repair it. 3) I called EGO back and requested that they skip the service call and just send me a replacement unit instead. The matter has been escalated based on my request. In fact, Chitrica tells me that they have no more of that model in stock at this time. Due to the terrible customer service I received, I demanded that they send me an upgraded model. The supervisor said she would need to check with me and get back to me both of us replied "yes. ". There has been no call since 24 hours ago. 4) I called Binki back today and spoke with her once more. The support representative reviewed my support ticket and said they were able to replace the unit without going through the support call process. The previous person had said they did not have any inventory, so I asked to check it. I was put on hold, but she later confirmed they do not have inventory and will have a shipment in about a week, and she will give me an update. I have again requested to speak to a supervisor or manager and will expect a call in 24 hours There are 48 hours until the deadline. It is a pain and a headache to deal with this mower and customer service. This brand breaks ALL THE TIME, and their customer service is one of the worst I have seen in a very long time. I would gladly get my money back and forget this whole hassle.
