I've been using this for over a year now and it's amazing how quickly it starts up. I like the solid and sturdy feel of it as well as the two 5s. Customer service is probably one of the worst experiences of my life. It appears a common problem with their lawn mowers is that the mower motor suddenly stops working and a flashing yellow light makes its appearance periodically. After maybe 20 hours of actual use, this happened to me. This is extremely generous of you. The customer service line of their company was completely busy during that day, so I waited on hold throughout their business hours. You get booted to voicemail at the end of their business hours. You do not hear from them again. In order to get a callback number, I called. I didn't hear back from them. On their website, I filed an online customer service claim, after which they contacted me from an unidentified Michigan number, however, I missed that call (they called me while I was still in bed at an hour most people are asleep). A message was left for me to contact customer service and I got in touch with them via This is what they told As of yet, they have not replied. There are several Twitter users reporting similar experiences with their customer service. They also agree that when you get through they tell you to take your mower to home depot for repair and that you can expect to wait at least 2 weeks before your mower arrives. A tweet from Ego stated that they would take action if your mower had not returned to you in 4 weeks. Hence, if you have to wait weeks for a warranty claim to actually be filed, and finally, weeks for the device to be repaired, and then they won't expedite the repair until 4 weeks later, then you better have a backup plan. I cannot recommend their products at this price point due to the absurdity of having a backup mower. suppose they are going to release a riding mower this year, and I'd guess it won't be inexpensive to buy. Likewise, I guess they will not be able to afford a riding mower while they repair it.
