In short, yes. There is an oil package included with it. In the manual, it indicates that 10/30, 30 and 40 should be used. It would be great if I could upload a photo of the page, but I can only post videos this site. This is a stupid change. It should be a photo with the text The video below.
The box comes pretty much as it is, just open it up and it will be ready to go
Just regular 10/30 weight oil would be sufficient for me. My lawn mower works fine in the winter. You won't run it in the winter so it shouldn't be an issue.
Be sure the spark plug is connected tightly and you have gas in the tank before you attempt to start the engine. Second, pull down the handle on the back twice to prime the engine. Third, pull the handle once or twice to start the engine. Finally, repeat the third step if you still have trouble starting it. In case you still cannot get it to start, contact them. They make the MTD mower that is not black and white. The decker. When you call, you can expect to be put on hold rather than receive an answer. How can I begin? First of all, why would Amazon allow this mower company to sell their trash on its website? It's clear you've not actually read any of these reviews on Amazon! I would advise you to VOID this item! The second problem is that the mower is not made by Black & Decker The decker. The product is manufactured by MTD for B&W It's time for D to slap on their stickers! I noticed that the mower's directions don't mention that pulling the handle up from below the deck will be a challenge. Near the cutting blade, about 8" of it are left sticking out. As far as I could tell, mine wouldn't move more than 1/4", so I had to use a rubber mallet and block of wood to strike the bottom of each side of the handle slowly (about 1 inch for each). The hole at the bottom of decking was only just large enough for me to reach up to the edge of the slab. There is approximately 1 1/2" to 2" left that needs to be removed. [See attached photos] You have two screws with a hand twist that need to lock down, so you need to get that handle angled in the right way. Safety (responsibility). B&T is what I called it when I first started out I spoke to a nice technical fellow there and he told me about MTD that makes the mower and gave me their customer service number. I have been on hold for almost two hours waiting for MTD service personnel My question needs to be answered by a tech person at MTD, so I'm sure my initial contact will simply route me to another LONG WAIT line. I just lost the line and when I dial back I'm getting gift card offers and other junkbr>
I knocked a star off my rating when I dial back up. There will be a May 18, 2021, date. The handle was moved up so that I can use the two hand screws with tops to tighten it down. I found a dowel that fits the hole and got the handle to fit the hole. It is now no longer necessary to worry about the vibrations causing the handle to sink down and hit the There are 1 foot and more of grass/weeds in front of the house, making it difficult to push the mower. While it is not pleasant to do such work in 80 degree heat and full sun, it still needs to be done just the same. For the sides of my house, I think it would be good to mulch because the grass is lower there than on the roof. In fact, the mower is very good at cutting grass.
It took less than 10 minutes to set up and assemble the unit right out of the box. I was able to start it within 5 seconds of pulling the cord. . . . . . A small gas tank is used for this vehicle. A single tank of gas used to mow the entire yard with my previous mower. There are 3 questions in this one. It has a large gas cap that almost covers the motor, and it seems to catch on everything when mowing when shrubbery or other low growing plants are in the way. It is necessary to overlap cut strips of mow because the blade does not cut the whole width of the deck as it does not cut the entire width of the deck. Does not cut evenly on rough grass, and it takes many passes to cut it. My next cutter will NEVER be another one because it cuts, it's easy to start, and I will probably never.
I had a slight issue starting the mower at first. Support was a bit dubious when I called. In the end, I figured out for myself that the mower handle was slid into the body for shipping to prevent the blade from sliding out. I was able to pull it out with ease & It was bolted to the wall. Though I was initially disappointed in its absence of a primer button, the rope starter pulls effortlessly & makes starting easy Depending on the pull, it might start on the first or second One thing I wish it came with, instead of the paper filter, was a sponge filter. I would have preferred to pay the small extra charge at the time of purchase. The only time I've used it is four times, so I am unable to comment on its durability. My 15-year-old lawnmower needed to be replaced and I was looking for a cheap replacement. The only use I have for it is to trim the grass, the rest is taken care of by my rider. For my needs, it is perfect. The engine runs quietly, has an easy start, and is light weight.
It is very easy to assemble. It started right up when I applied the included motor oil and gasoline, and two pulls of the power cord did the trick. It was a breeze to mow a quarter acre flat lot. This is a very light and simple design. It makes me happy to be alive.

I hate this! I hate this so much! Despite two attempts the first one failed to start, the second only ran for three minutes before failing to start Buy this product and do not use it!.
I used it on my lawn and it worked great.
