The whole thing makes me hate it! I have never made a worse mistake than buying stupid stuff like "FastStart" in my entire life. People who do not know how to use 2- might find that useful Do you have a cycle engine that has never had a choke attach to it? There is no way for me to use it, I do not know who it is intended for. There is no way I can start that. I get into a rage every time! There is some weird slow pull technique that you have to master with the "FastStart" that is totally out of place If you actually know how to turn on engines, this should be simple. Every time I try to finesse the flight, I have to go back to the manual to read it again. Even after all this time, I can't seem to achieve it. Not at all, my Mantis is in good working order. I eventually drive over the damn thing with my truck enough to start it just about the time my truck is about to overturn. It annoys me to no end. I hate it to no end. That garbage about "new and improved" has annoyed me to no end. Rather than going back to the standard Mantis Tiller starter, which I had happily used for 15 years, I should have just stuck with it. The new FastStart piece of garbage is so ridiculous to me that I would actually pay $100 just to trade it for a normal one that works.
My apologies. Despite reading reviews saying it's hard to get started, I believe reviewers didn't read the instructions carefully. Watching the Mantis YouTube video and reading the instructions helped me understand. I was able to run it for four hours without any problems. After I had put it away for a couple of weeks, I cleaned it out to use it again, but it would not run for more than a few The starting time was always 5 after that, it stopped Then wait ten I just dropped it off at the repair shop, and they said it would take 4 to 6 weeks to repair it. A mechanic in the shop told me that I probably used old gas, since he sees it with Mantis tillers all the time. With my chainsaw, leaf blower, and weed eater, I used gas that had been sitting in my garage for a few weeks. My guess is that I will have to keep two gas cans if he is right. It will be a hassle for me to fill up the tiller with gas the day it is needed, and I'll have to pour the leftover gas into another can to make use of the other 2-cycle I will have to run the tiller out of fuel since I cannot leave it running on gas for longer than two to three What can be more precious than this?.
SOMETHING THAT CRUCTIVELY PENETRATES THE SOIL AND WILL NOT REPENT. I THINK THIS IS AN OUTSTANDING MACHINE. The soil is torn up by the machine and it will not shut off until it has ground the entire surface. HOWEVER, I purchased the easy start model since I have been trying to get started for a few years. ALMOST EVERY ONE OF THE MOTORS CAN BE PULLED IN SHORT DISTANCES - WHILE WHEN COLD, IT TAKES 10 TO 15 PULLS TO GET IT TO START. I FEEL LIKE IT STARTS UP SUPER FAST AFTER IT WARMS UP. STILL, BUY A GREAT LITTLE MACHINE EVEN IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO THAT.
Heavy, thick metal makes this very durable Compared to some of its competitors, it is a little heavier, but it should also Tiller who is very enthusiastic and eats stuff up like a baby It is advisable to use throttle control with a certain amount of discretion, otherwise it can get a little chaotic. Upon arrival, he was prompt. I love how well packed it is. In 30 minutes, I had it put together. With one wrench you will be able to do more There is an extension to the ratchet. For the kickstand (you really should get one), you will also need a 3/8 inch screw. I was able to start using it right away. I was able to work most of the afternoon without a hitch. It is easy to carry thanks to the transport handle The wheels are not needed. Quite a good value for the money.
This is awesome! I highly recommend this book! The Mantis 7924 Fast Start Tiller is a great product. It is obvious that this product is strong and well built to last for many years to come. Assorted parts were very easy to assemble and started right up right away with a few gentle pulls on the starter cord. I would definitely recommend it to everybody for weeding and tilling small gardens. It's possible that some people will try using this to till or weed large open areas, and if given enough time, it should be able to handle the task. However, I wouldn't recommend using this product for large open areas The assembly and operating instructions of this product are The text is well written and easy to understand.
Letter to Mantis According to the recommendation for product improvement, tiller blades should be labelled to indicate whether they rotate when toiling or not. Taking care of. Attaching the blade for tilling is different than attaching the blade for cutting. By reading the instructions or looking at the blades, cultivating isn't as obvious as it might seem.
In hard ground, the tiller was unable to break through, despite working well in composted soil. You should be extremely careful if you hit any rock, because it would jump into the air unexplainably.
It was easy to use. It was easy to follow the Instantly started working on it. Having owned two of them now, this is the second. It took us over 7 years to start our first one. Even if it needs to be repaired, it can still be done. The tines were flipped over for cultivating and was used on my lawn to re-garnish and seed. Organic matter and Peet Moss were cultivated into a little over an acre of soil.
The mantis worked hard and only had to retighten a few bolts, but it was still done in a couple of hours. My wife found the fast-start feature to be extremely convenient as she was able to start her car with just one easy pull (you do not have to pull swiftly.
It's as good as it gets! It's amazing how much power can be packed into that No sweat necessary when I chew through the clay soil in our garden. This is the easiest start on any 2 cycle gear I've ever had. I want all of my gear to have this feature.
