A tool attachment for the 3550 Electric Tiller/Cultivator cannot be used with the edging attachment. The Mantis tiller attachments can only be attached to tillers from the 7000 series.

There is no sign of a used tiller on this machine. This is a brand new product.
In my opinion, you should use a 12/3 cord instead of a 16/3 cord. The unit is pulling 12 amps, which is too much for 16 gauge, and you don't want to risk damaging the electric motor on the rototiller caused by a voltage drop. Each of Menards, Home Depot and Lowe's sells a 100ft 12/3 cord for about $65 with a flexible outer jacket down to 0 degrees Fahrenheit. My electric snow blower is powered by mine.

As I saw all the reviews saying that this was powerful, I was sceptical. In order to prepare a large garden each year, I plan to use this tool a couple of times per year. There are no fluids that need to be changed or that need to get bad, and it's extremely low maintenance (i. e. It needs to be plugged in before it can function). The power was more than enough for its size, and I was able to run it for nearly 8 hours without stopping. When buried chunks of concrete got lodged in it, I only had it jam a couple of times. In order to remove the tines and clear the jam, having a 1/2" ratcheting socket was needed. After I did that, I was able to solve the jam in ten As it is lightweight, it is easy to carry, but can bounce as it is tilled. For my needs, I felt like I was getting a good deal on this, since it also saves me counter space This would have been amazing if I had bought it years ago!.
The gift was purchased for Christmas. You should have unpacked your things in March, when you normally would have left. The rototiller turned hard soil easily and had lots of power. I purchased it as a tool to level my backyard. There is nothing better than this machine for the price it costs This is a definite recommendation.
