Questions & Answers

Does the oil have to be mixed with the gas?

87octane regular is what you need. A Honda that requires an oil or gas change is exceedingly rare. Priming it takes a bit more than two pulls to get started.

Approximately what is the cost of a gas honda tiller FG100A?

You can expect to pay between $250 and $400, depending on where you buy it. The price range is between $100 and

Are the roots of the trees going to be broken up/broken through this tiller? What is the easiest way to break up tree roots that are 1/8", 1/2", 1", or 2" in diameter?

One eighth inch- I believe so. 1/2" to 1" I don't know. This is not a larger version. We cut them with a saw or axe when we come across them.

What is the reason for the dethatchers having almost the same price as the unit itself?

Due to the fact that it is a paid service. There aren't any aftermarket dethatchers for the Honda tiller, so I wonder why Honda is still charging this high price. If there are buyers for these dethatchers, Honda will continue to ask this price.

Flowers in flower beds are okay
4/5

This would be extremely difficult to accomplish. The gift we bought for my mom was Mother's Day. The one she had stolen from her garage was stolen, so we kids all pitched in to buy her a duplicate just like it. Her first machine (The same model) was purchased from a John Deere Dealer, and it was stronger and digs deeper even though it was the same make and model. There have been changes on the new model since she bought her first one. Flower beds can use it. Using the machine for bigger jobs, such as installing new garden and flower beds would be difficult because you must till the soil the first time and it would be on hard soil. The process took longer than expected and was harder than we expected. The soil is less problematic for women to handle, and it can be used for basic tilling or in soil that has been tilled before.

Despite its flaws, this cultivator really appeals to me
5/5

EDIT YOUR TEXT With this cultivator, you will get cultivating and tilling If you are digging a ditch or a hole, there is no reason to have digging tines. Using just the tines of its cultivation blade, the tiller tries to burrow itself in the soil. For days on end I worked on finding and buying the perfect cultivator for my garden. I like the default tines just fine. However, I wouldn't mind having the option to replace them. It is a wonderful little fellow, and I am so happy with him! When I found the on/off switch on the handlebar, it worked right away! Originally, I could not get it to start, but then I found the switch! I need this machine because it's perfect for my purposes. This is a large garden measuring 50' x 60' and is really too much for me to handle. I had trouble keeping up with the weeds and grass on my farm until I unpacked this tiller and started hoeing. There is no more grass or weeds in my yard and I cannot wait for more weed seeds to sprout so that I can "hoe" them again. As part of my preparation for re-grading, I have also used the tiller on my foundation beds The planting of shrubs. The roots are a little tricky to cut around, but it sure gets the job done! In spite of being a powerful machine, it is a lot of work for my 72 year old body to use. The "small" tiller is far better than a "big" one, however. There is one feature not outlined the "rock detector. ". A rock hits your tiller while you're tilling along, and the detector kicks in, and the tiller rockets This is a pretty good argument for getting rid of all the rocks in.

The price is slightly higher, but the quality is exceptional
5/5

The Honda ease of use of the tiller makes it an excellent choice. As a start. There is a primer bulb for loading the carburetor, and if it is used as instructed, the engine will start cold away from a standstill. This is hot- Usually the first pull (without the choke or priming) is the one used to start this rifle. The engine is relatively quiet, as most people comment on it. The first cycle is much easier on the ears than the second. It seems strange that a tiller would seem underpowered from such a small That wasn't an issue after a few moments, but after a few minutes I realized it was Soil is really stirred up when it's turned over. can be stored using as much or as little of the handle as you like. The wheels came off the tiller when I moved from job to job, and I carried it around like that There is no need to worry about its weight because it is It is easy because there is a loop handle in front of the engine. The tiller is of excellent quality and should last for many years to come. This could not be a happier day for me.

If the product complies with these criteria
5/5

Buying 2 of these is kind of like buying the same thing over and over again. In the first relationship I had, it lasted nearly a decade. If I had paid better attention to maintenance, the product would have lasted longer. A vegetable garden measuring 27' by 17' is the perfect size Although I was the typical weekend warrior, I owned a home. In my tool shed, I would use it and then put it away. The tines of this product will last for a long time if you clean them after each use, remove all debris from the shaft surrounding the tines, and make sure to change the oil and tune up the machine regularly. It has been found to be very effective for its purpose, but it needs to be properly Unless it's built to do heavy work, it won't last. It's not designed to handle massive gardens. You should keep soil away from the tines if you want it to perform A 2-amp power tool is equally dangerous, as is any second-amp tool Gas with no ethanol is the best fuel for this engine. A lot of love and care will be given to the dog that I just bought.

This tiller is very powerful
5/5

This tiller is very powerful. As of late summer, I had a main sewer line installed, so I'm not working with clay soil. In the end, I had a 3 foot-high hill to walk up from the house to the street after letting the soil settle.

I really like how it works! YES! I love it! There is only one way to weed now by hand! It's great to have a tiller like this! The best thing we've seen in years! This is a must-have for me
5/5

I was tired of handweeding my huge garden by hand! Therefore, we are very happy to receive this The purpose of this is to weed gardens that have already been tilled with a heavy duty garden tractor/tiller. The idea of "breaking new ground" for a garden is not recommended. was exactly what I was looking for, as my rows are usually very close together and I wanted a small one. Handling and lifting are very simple.

I found this mini tiller to be very useful
5/5

It was made for soft soil and soil that has been broken up from a larger tiller. This is a great small tiller for soil that has already been broken up. In my case, this tiller was primarily used to push leaves into very sandy soil, and it excelled at that task. Furthermore, it can be very useful for tilling very large box gardens as well. The old, no longer produced model was near perfect in both of these categories, and could be made better by adding a bigger engine and better balancing. In other words, we have lost some ground since our early Some plastic components that were once metal are of concern to me, but have so far proven to be The Honda tiller comes in a variety of colors so you can pick what suits your style. If you would rather spend a few dollars more to have something that will last much longer, then you should consider this tiller.

I am so excited now! You Can Count on This Tiller/Cultivator! A few months ago, I researched the best small tiller/cultivator available online following the death of my old one
5/5

Among the rest, this one won out because it has a mid-price range This is not the same as a conventional vehicle, but it features a Honda engine, which leaves a very different feeling from a traditional vehicle You can manage but is not unmanageable no matter what type of end you use. Fit, tall and 65 years old, I am in great shape. It seems to be a tiller/cultivator that will last for many years to come after just one season of use. My garden measures 20' x 55', so it is certainly a good size. The tiller helps to round out my garden with ease. Though I still hand-turn most of it, I finish it off with the.
