I'm pleased with the results after just one day
5/5

Taking into account the previous reviews, I (1) installed the handle upside-down to reduce my length, and (2) wiped a bit of silicone along the edges of the battery compartment before placing it inside, and (3) secured the wheel assembly with a bolt instead of that flimsy pin. I have been using these three hacks successfully for a long time. The instructions should not be ignored, though! The tines would have been installed backwards if I had followed their instructions. Put them on the shaft using your common sense and compare them with the drawings. I do not see any use for the circle pins that are provided The big cotter pins on the shaft should be used. Then all of a sudden, I turned it on and did two weeks' worth of work in a single This morning, I charged the battery, used it again that evening, and then charged it again in the morning. We were able to turn the top layer of small weeds that pop up in late winter with perfection . When the taller weeds become more established later in the year, I will weedeat or mow them before converting them. Despite being 70 years old, I'm still active The year is It concerned me that I wouldn't be able to maintain my giant garden as an old woman, but now I'll be able to do it.

As if it were butter, it cuts right through rocky ground
3/5

I lowered the rating to 2 stars from 5 stars. What's the reason? Despite my efforts to tear my garden, I did not receive good service when I put the battery on the charger after the winter. There is no power to charge the battery! As a result of having the Greenworks weed wacker, I have two chargers the charger will not charge the battery from the weed whacker, but does charge the charger from the weed wacker. The world is cruel, but it must go on. Trying to contact them over the phone, I was given a message about emailing all the information, but I was also on hold for over The number of responses was zero. It has been a week since I sent the email and I have yet to hear However, the form on the website is not working. Unfortunately, the weed wacker battery does not last half as long as the one on the riding lawn mower, but that is fine so I'm able to get a little work Despite being a beast, cultivators are not very useful because they are so destructive Due to the instabilities in the CS, it truly becomes Even if I have to get a battery from a third party, it will still cost less than half as much as getting one from greenworks and it will still be a My cultivator and weed wacker will be replaced with something from a better manufacturer once they are entirely dead. Greenworks is on my do not buy list. I have one more edit to make. I was able to charge the battery once again about a month after it stopped charging. All summer long, everything worked as it should.

Hey, I brought the battery in from the garage over the winter, and I was hoping it would still work. Several weeks after the battery began charging, Greenworks finally responded to the problem. It doesn't matter to me what their company does, I just ignore it. Tiller itself is still a great tool, but the control system is terrible. My backyard is extremely rocky, so I wanted to start a garden in it. I live in an area with extremely rocky soil. was breaking it up by hand and that took far too long and I was back-to-back with it This is a break in the In order to give you an idea, I sifted dirt out of rocks with buckets of 5 gallons each and got 7 gallons of dirt for every bucket full. There are eight buckets of rocks in the room. While I originally thought I would rent a tiller, it runs $40 an hour, so I have already gotten almost back what I spent on this machine. I thought I might need to buy new tines after I was done but it hasn't come up with that. It's a very solid product. As soon as a large rock got stuck between the tines and hood, the blade shut down properly and after chipping it for a bit, it came out, the tines not bent. It is not too heavy, it could be a little wider, but it is not bad for my small garden. It lasts a decent amount of time on one charge. The battery has not yet been drained. There is an issue with the battery in this model, as it is hard With a rubber mallet, I give it a few light taps on each side so that it works much better. Ideally, I would like to get rid of it in a more efficient way. Having the cover locked open would help make it easier to remove, and the cover could also be locked.

The Greenworks company is great
5/5

Customer here. I am happy with the service. The Greenworks company is great. It has been stated that the batteries are difficult to remove in other reviews. This is probably a case of It's more convenient to put a couple of drops of clean grease on the rails of the battery before installation. To release the cassette easily, simply push down on the release handle and then move just a little to the left. It will then pop out about one inch, allowing easy removal of the battery. You will never be able to remove the battery if you push the release handle and pull. There are two black supports for the battery that are visible if you look into the battery holding area (with the battery out). For the pushback to work, they have to be released. The cultivator was used in soil ranging from soft to medium hard. Not a rock in sight. When weeds or grass are wrapped around the shaff, the blades can easily be removed by using the quick release mechanism. In addition to buying Greenworks products, I also used other Greenworks products with excellent A 40 volt lawn mower, a weed eater, a pole cutter chainsaw and a hedge It always takes a short time for the batteries to charge. The two 2Ah batteries and the four 4Ah batteries are all in good condition. Charging device. Customer here. I am happy with the service.

The packaging is bad or there is a problem with Many reviewers state that the product makes the job of non-professional lawn workers easier, but I was faced with an issue after a hot summer that caused my lawn to suffer severe drought conditions, causing several large spots of dead grass as a result
3/5

Taking into account that I will be traveling for the next six weeks, I planned to end this project on labor day long weekend. By early Oct. , the spots were too large for the manual cultivator to handle, so I bought this beautiful one in order to remove them quickly. The situation was so urgent that I ordered additional batteries to make sure I could complete it The bolts, nuts and pins you mentioned are nowhere to be found when I try to assemble the tines. There are some scratches on the surface and some paints are peeling off some parts. Whether a tool is cosmetically damaged or not is irrelevant to me without these bolts or pins, I cannot utilize it. The parts just slipped out of the package without much attention I'm not sure if it was a quality control issue or a poor package. Definitely, I can come pick it up and return it or replace it, but it'll The weekend is coming up, what are my plans? I may have to wait until next year if I miss the season. Unfortunately, I am disappointed. A minor update Customer service is not available. I called the number and had to wait for ever. The 3 days since I sent them an email requesting missing parts have gone by without a reply. The item was purchased from Amazon and I plan to Things cannot be returned with ease it is more trouble than it is worth.
