Questions & Answers

It's pretty hard to break up clay with our soil, and we have a lot of clay mixed in there. Anyone use a tiller like this?

It's been a while since I've done any The soil in my yard is clay so I either amend it or replace it with mushroom soil mix, and it is a magical mixture. For those who are interested, I had to remove our clay soil in the beds before replacing it and let me tell you, trying to pass through it dry is as if you were digging (Hyperbole) I learned the hard way how to do it easily. Before you dig or rototill the ground, use a sprinkler for several hours to make sure it is thoroughly moist. If you have soft soil that is no longer wet or very dry, you can use this roto tiller to dig it through after the water settles. In the case of wet conditions, it is more difficult to dig. However, if the ground is moist, it is easier to dig. You'll find out after experimenting just what the right degree of moisture is and how long to let set up when you apply and let it dry.

Could you tell me where I can purchase replacement tines for my ?

I ordered a replacement tine for $5 in the 800 number and I have used it for almost 2 years now. Shipping costs are included in the price. Fast shipping and friendly service make them a great company to do business with. You can compare the price of this tiller with others. You won't be disappointed, I used a Mantis and this one works just as well for a third of the price.

Do you find it easy or hard to hold the It's bad when it comes to my ?

I don't think it's all that hard.

I found this tiller to be quick and effective at turning dirt up
5/5

After researching several of the small electric tillers on Amazon, the reason I chose this one came to mind. It seems silly to run 12 amps down 100 feet of power cord to a horse tiller when I have a 12 amp vacuum cleaner and a 25' power cord that gets pretty warm. A lot of the tillers on the market draw only 7". Despite only being 5 amps, I read reviews about the motor burning up, so I figured 14” of cut would be too much to ask of a motor of that size. It seemed that the Earthwise tiller would be a perfect match - With 8, it's up to It takes 5 amps to reduce an 11" cut to 4". Despite the fact that it was not burning up, it provided a powerful performance. br>I liked the idea of the handle connecting to one another. My favorite thing about wheels was having them. It is present on some models but not all of them, and they prevent the tiller from going My choice of tiller has turned out very well now that I have used it. It appears to be very sturdy and well constructed. This is not a toy, no matter how small it is. It is a powerful tool that quickly turns up dirt and does an excellent job of moving My front yard was 10' x 40' and it took me less than an hour to do it. The task would have gone quicker if I hadn't had to deal with roots from overgrown bushes that used to be there. So soon as it stops raining and the ground dries out, I intend to do the whole back yard as well. Start by tilling at the front of the area you intend to till. When it's cutting, draw the tiller back while After you pull back about 10', let the machine walk you up, and then pull back again Using this method will clear your area quickly, and the cord will remain off to the side so it doesn't get tangled in anything. The cord should not be run from front to back too many times in one go or you will end up cutting your cord. Check to make sure the cord is not wet with you as moist soil will cause it to The soil will crumble into a smooth, creamy powder when it is dry. I bought this tiller when it was the least expensive in its class, but the price shot up quickly afterward. In a short time, it returned to its previous level. of this product seems to fluctuate every day or two so to make sure you can get it at the lowest price, put it in your shopping cart and watch for it to go low. Saving money will be a benefit to you. Thank you for reading this review. I hope you find it helpful and that you enjoy.

The overall impression is positive
4/5

Because this is the first time I've used a tiller, I do not have a lot of experience to compare it to. Despite being lightweight and strong, I like that it's not overly bulky. It was able to dig out the weeds and clean up the grass using the earthwisw TC7001. It works well except that the bigger weeds sometimes tend to get caught up in the tiller and bring the motor to a halt, so I have to manually untangle them Here's some advice Weeds are growing on your lawn, so cut them down with a weed wacker. The following pros Please note Weighs only a fraction of its weight - The kit is easy to assemble
Provides the service you need

CONS Please note Tillers are prone to weeds getting caught up in them, which requires stopping to move them out. The br>- The tiller tends to pull away from you when you pull it towards you, so you need to pull it towards you*- There's something awkward about the on switch, namely pulling the trigger and pressing the button at the same time. All in all, I am very pleased with the tiller. Overall, it performed well and delivered what it promised.

This is what I compare my tillers to I want to read Earthwise, Sun Joe and There are Bilt, Black & Decker, Greenworks, and Mantis in this category
5/5

The bottom line If you are looking for the bottom line I chose Earthwise because it came with the most features for the least price. As with all others, it isn't perfect (as could be said for the others as well), but it is an exceptionally good machine that is up to the task, outperforming devices twice as expensive (or even You need fast tine speed to get through tough material. There is a big problem with it being prone to bucking. The full review is as follows As I needed to replace my trusted 25 year old 2 cycle gas tiller/cultivator (engine still purrs but the transmission gave out), I decided to purchase an electric model since a number of familiar faces from my gardening club gave rave reviews. Which one should I In the past few weeks, I had an opportunity to try several, and thought I would share my experiences with other people who are in the same boat. In our first match of the weekend, we had In addition,.

The warranty is extremely limited and the teeth are quite flimsy
3/5

A tough little guy, the motor is incredible, and it's so easy to use, but after about 5 hours of use, one of the teeth broke off while working in the yard soil with some tomato roots from last year. What a shame they put a beefy motor in a flimsy chassis. Updating the above In the event that the product is still under warranty, I've submitted the claim. Please see the response below * Email contact@americanlawnmower. com. Item number 12 I received your email this morning at 818 PM (8 hours ago). Good morning, the tines are not covered by the In order to place an order for the tine set RTC70001SET however, you must pay The following formulas were used 01 + S&W A set of four tines (all replacements included) and the tine hardware is not sold separately.
