If you wind and unwind in the same direction, you should avoid kinks. I recently switched from a heavy hose to a lighter expandable hose, which has made a significant difference in my back pain.
It appears to be well-made and durable. I had no intention of putting it away for the winter.

I was on the verge of purchasing something similar, but then realized it was too short. This one's height is ideal; I'm using a 100-foot, 3/4-inch-diameter hose and there's plenty of room. Start the first layers of the hose about 6 inches off the ground when winding it. br>br>It's very sturdy and easy to put together, with only two bolts to install using the Allen wrench that comes with it.
It's exactly what you'd expect! My purchase went well.
It's simple to assemble, appears to be quite sturdy, and it looks fantastic. I like that I didn't have to attach it to the house or use any tools, and it's still sturdy enough to hold the hose up.
On arrival, one of the welds on the cross member had come loose, but this had no effect on the performance of the first rack I ordered. The second one I ordered arrived in perfect condition; overall, these are high-quality racks that perform admirably in a variety of settings. I would buy it again if I could.
I ordered another because I liked it so much. It's sturdy and attractive.
There are only two screws that need to be installed, both of which are allen screws. The allen key was provided as part of the package. It took me about three minutes to put together. Despite the fact that I have a light-weight garden hose, it is very sturdy. It has strong tines that dig into the soil and do not bend. Oh, and my wife thinks it's cute.
It appeals to me. It's well-made and simple to put together (the Allen wrench is included). It also appears to be in excellent condition. I like it so much that I'm going to order another one!.
The zip ties were a b ch, and the anchor was caught in the scrollwork, but it was easy to put together after getting past those obstacles. br>According to the instructions that come with this product, "2. "Place your hands on the anchor points. " The fact that the manufacturer could not spell "step" correctly irritates me and makes me doubt the product's overall quality - not appropriate for a professional setting It is flimsy and does not anchor well in the ground. Fortunately, I have one of those lightweight hoses that retracts when the water is turned off. With one of the standard heavy hoses, I'm sure it would topple. br>I'm keeping it, but only for use in my backyard, where I don't need much water. I'm not going to buy any more for my front yard because they're far too flimsy.
