I adore these! Raccoons live in my house and enjoy making my life as difficult as possible. So, if you've spent money on plants and want to keep them safe from animals digging into them, these are ideal. You can water through them as well, but I prefer to remove them when the plants need to be thoroughly soaked. So far, I'm pleased with them!.

I've been looking for the ideal way to mulch my plants to help them retain water, and these are it; they fit perfectly and can be cut down if you need to use it in a smaller pot. And, unless you treat them badly, they will last for a long time.

It's not worth the trouble

These were planted at the base of two-year-old Podocarpus bushes that I had grown from seed. Within a few weeks, these had disintegrated. It's not even worth a nickel.
