Three container roses will require a 25-quart box. These 7 were purchased in pairs by me. For my container roses, I used 25 quart boxes. They are large shrub roses, so I have them in big pots. One 7, according to the seller. A top dressing of 5 roses can be made from a 25 quart box. This is a pricey mulch, but I decided to spend the extra money for the health of my roses and to win the war against spider mites and aphids. I can't comment on its effectiveness against pests because I only put it down a few weeks ago (I'll update in a few weeks). However, be wary of the seller's quantity recommendations. Unless you're sprinkling this product around each plant sparingly, one very expensive 7. Only two people will be covered by a 25-quart box of mulch. 5 roses. br>br>Now I need more mint mulch for the rest of my roses, but I'll look for it locally, hopefully at a lower price, and I'll update this review in a few weeks to see how the various mulches compare.
Because of the attractive packaging, the compost arrived in excellent condition. It has a rich, pleasant aroma. Even though I've only been using the compost for a few weeks, I've already noticed a difference in the number of insects. I also appreciate the fact that it is organic rather than a chemical that is harmful to the environment.
It's something I'll never leave the house without. It lasts for months without needing to be replaced.
Use it every year for a dark color that repels insects and easily blends into the soil for a new treatment after the winter months. To contrast the color of the flowers, the best composting ground cover (black) is used.
This item does exactly what it claims to do.
