Questions & Answers

Is there room in this pen for the Z26 cartridge?

The Z26 converter does not fit this pen, only the Z24 converter

Can you tell me if this pen has a refill converter? Thank you. ?

It is not included in the package you must purchase it They can be found for sale on Amazon.

A transparent vista from the two sides of the building. What if I want to purchase one cartridge then purchase different colors, and change the colors as often as I need?

There are no markings on the pen. You can choose what color cartridge you want to use. If you want to change the colors, you can easily do it It is important to flush out the pen before switching colors.

My new pen came with a refill converter, but I can't get the converter There was no ink cartridge included, according to what I thought. I would appreciate it if you could ?

Unlike other Lamy models, the Vista comes with an ink cartridge, and you can buy a converter separately. There is no thread on the converter and it pulls out. Whenever a pen is new, it comes in a rigid cardboard tube where it comes apart. You should throw this tube So the ink cartridge will not puncture, the cardboard tube is there.

For the most part, this is a really great pen, but there is a design flaw that results in ink on your fingers after a while
4/5

(Clear) Safari Vista is working for me. I like the look of this pen and I would use it every day. The fact that it's not too fancy appeals to me. I like the plastic construction because it doesn't scratch my phone in my pocket, and I also like the rounded edges on the metal clip. There's no likeness between the converter and the one in the Pilot Metropolitan, but I think it holds more. (See photo) The fine point is more of a medium than a fine point. One of the biggest problems is that after a while, it gets your fingers inky. Somehow, the ink spreads from the black part that the nib is connected to, all the way to the plastic part where the When choking up on your pen, you won't have that problem, but I tend to keep my pens nearer to the tip of the nib. It doesn't affect the Pilot Metropolitan because the base of the nib is contained inside the inner casing, so there is no transfer of ink to the part you can It was a bit dark for the pictures, so I apologize for that.

Cartridge for Lamy Vista ink pen in fine condition, BLUE in color -- I highly recommend this company
3/5

The Lamy Vista ink cartridge is brand new, fine, and BLUE as stated on the box. Note taking in the classroom is her strongest suit The author can write smoothly on lesser quality papers, as in copier paper in the workplace, although some feathering occurs. The nib of the fountain pen sticks to paper friendly to fountain pens. The drag-and-drop has nothing to do with the dragging There is a "scratchiness" sensation in NIB. The 2 oz. container was used for the test. Using an irrigation bulb to clean the pen, we blew out the water as much as we could with canned air and let the pen When the pen was inked, it started writing immediately. Priming was not necessary. "Juicy" pens are not as good as they used to be Rather than being a moderately wet climate, it is drier It could be better if the saturation were higher. There is only one of each ink color in the Lamy T10 cartridge. It is 15ml with the Lamy converter set to Approximately 8 ml. By tightening the barrel, the ink cartridge will be forced down onto a notch in the feed cylinder. The notch fills the feed and prevents the cartridge (or converter) from falling out when a heavy amount of torque is applied. Simply on the basis of that, one should look into buying a Lamy for Every Day Carry. It does not dry out when NIB up for an extended period of time. Furthermore, ink does not drain into the cap after being NIB down for that period of time. The drying time of NIB without a cap is inadequate. began to dry up within 60 seconds and took a second stroke before the ink flow resumed (my Lamy Al-Montague 5" Before it started drying up, the star had gone over 4 minutes without being capped. [Characterized samples might take longer to dry. ] For me, that's a very good offer The "breaker". In order to keep the nib from drying out, you will have the habit of constantly capping and uncapping the pen between taking notes. Because the NIB tends to accumulate NIB Creep and NIB Crud, make sure to uncap it -1 The right-handed versus the left-handed Smudges can be removed easily by wiping the tip with a cloth when lettering starts to smudge. The cap does not spray ink when it is This has too many sharp edges that irritate the eye There are two barrel flat tops on each of the two Section facets. As I round all the sharp edges with wet 3000 grit sand paper, taking care not to scratch the barrel's polished flat surface, I round all the sharp corners Although I sanded the Flat areas of the Section Facet so that they would be less slippery By holding it further away, I don't need to choke any more The facets can be found down below. While I found it easy to adjust to the Jinhao X450, I was not able to do so with the facets. I am concerned the plastic cap will crack under repeated postings and would like to see one with metal reinforcements. Make sure to silicone grease your plastic threads to prevent them from **Unposted, because of the toothiness and feedback This allows the pen to be light and portable. Adding the cap to the pen makes the pen more top-notch A heavy load. NIB seems smoother now that it's been posted, and feedback is lessening. Posting it improves its quality, but it writes better unposted, in my opinion I don't know. You will have to exercise a "light" touch if the feedback is objectionable NIB movement across the paper is achieved by lifting up the pen while allowing the NIB to glide over Lamy's NIB has a wide sweet spot, which gives ample opportunity to rotate the NIB as you write. Due to this, I have retired my TWSBI Eco, Baoer 388 and Jinhao X450, which are all a result of extensive NIB tune-ups unable to eradicate the issue. There is no point in getting upset over this.

This left me feeling very My previous Lamy Safari pen had broken after approximately 1 month of very light use, but I was pleased with this purchase
3/5

It broke off along the threading in the barrel at the back of the section. Initially, I believed that the pen cap did not post securely, but now I realize that this threaded portion of the section must have been compromised right from the start. The pen was damaged beyond repair, so I had to contact Lamy to have it fixed under warranty. I contacted the seller to see about getting a replacement, and they informed me I needed to contact Lamy to have it In order to fix the pen, I would have to spend more than I did on the original purchase, when you include shipping and Lamy's handling fee.

Beginners will find this demonstrator to be affordable and ideal to add to their collections
5/5

My triangular grip makes fountain pens easier for me to use as I am new to them. A nice touch by the demonstrator is how she shows off what is inside the pen to help familiarize this newbie with I also find the ink sloshing inside the clear pen beautiful and useful since I cannot see accurately the amount of ink on the ink window of my Vista because of my poor In order to use bottled inks, I bought a Z28 converter It would be better if the knob weren't red, but rather black so that the aesthetics of Vista are enhanced. As I also own a Lamy Safari pen, I thought the Vista might be redundant because they used to be the same pen. However, I think the feel of the Lamy Vista and the material used make it different enough from the Lamy Safari that I am glad I own them both. The Vista can be used with any Lamy nib, and Lamy nibs are easy to change out (I use clear tape, but one can use a nib grip, or even your fingers if one is really careful), which makes Lamy pens one of my favorites. My collection has been enriched with this new addition.

The author has a smooth style, but leaks heavily
3/5

I really like the way this pen writes, and I think I'll get a fine point if I were to buy it again. However, the blue medium tip leaves quite a substantial trail behind, and I'd prefer a fine point. As you can see from the photos, the pen is thicker and bushier than you might expect. As soon as I realized that the first pen I had ordered was smashed, Amazon promptly offered to replace One of the biggest cons of this pen is that it leaks. It seems as though almost every time I open the pen to use it, there is a blob of ink sitting near the silver part. Ink is wasted when you wipe it off. Wiping it off makes it run more, so this is a waste.

Despite its small size, I like this pen very much
4/5

Pens like this one are very attractive to me. It is important, however, that anyone who purchases one makes sure the pen is very well cleaned before using it. When I first got my pen, it was extremely scratchy and I just flushed it quickly and it wrote horrible. In the end, I cleaned it again and wound up trying a new However, the writing was still In order to flush the nib, I removed it, then flushed out the entire feed, and then soaked it in water and flushed it again for about ten It writes really well after I dried it out, re-inked it, and it writes really well now!.
