Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use the zebra comic g model nibs in this case?

That's correct. For the pen, those are the ones I use. The nibs are fairly flexible, allowing for a variety of line weights.

Is this compatible with the Nikko G nib?

That's correct.

Is this something made of plastic?

It's made out of wood

It's comfortable and can be worn with almost anything
5/5

What more could you possibly want? With a slanted point marker, I learned how to write calligraphy. Then I moved on to brush lettering, but there's something about a dip pen that's just too special. I bought an oblique holder and it stopped working after about a week. This is something I bought. It was almost magical. I know how much people adore their oblique pen holders, but this thing is incredible to hold and use. br>br>As a wish, I'd like to have all the colors. However, there is no requirement for it. It has a nib cover, which I like because it allows me to keep a nib in there to work with quickly. br>br>It's lovely and high-quality. If you work with a relaxed hand, your work will be stunning. I'm glad I went ahead and bought it. If this is something you're thinking about, Do it without a doubt!.

This holder is useful because it can be used with both standard and mapping nibs
4/5

It is comfortable but wide. It's easy to hold and not nearly as heavy as I expected. However, because it is fairly wide, your inkwell or jar must have a wider mouth in order for it to fit, which can be a problem if the ink isn't completely full. It's challenging to use with a winsor and newton or dr. jar of ph martin In that case, you'll need to use a brush or a dropper to apply the ink to the nub.

SPEEDBALL IS A MONEY WASTE
5/5

SPEEDBALL IS A MONEY WASTE. Invest in this, as well as a pair of zebra G-strings. nibs. Even if you're just getting started, I promise it'll be well worth it. Holder is a light and comfortable companion. It also comes with a cap. The design is adorable. There are two slots for various nib sizes.

The cap keeps your nibs safe while you're using it
5/5

I ordered the Tachikawa nib holder to see how good it is. It's fantastic, in any case. It is, in fact, my preferred nib holder. It has a foam grip that makes it very comfortable to use, and it accepts two different nib sizes. The cap is one of its most appealing features. Because many nibs have extremely fine, sharp points, dropping them into a jar or cup nib down can cause damage. If you're wearing a cap, that won't be possible. You'll also avoid accidentally stabbing yourself with a sharp nib thanks to the cap. br>br>My only criticism is the price, which is quite high for a nib holder. Nonetheless, I plan to purchase two more because, as previously stated, it is an excellent nib holder.

After only a few hours of use, it fell apart
3/5

This nib holder is initially very comfortable, and getting the nibs out is a breeze. However, I noticed the wood on the end was beginning to split, and the entire piece of plastic on the end fell out today while I was drawing. I'm going to glue it and hope it stays in place because it won't fit snugly back in. I don't soak the wooden holder, and I've only had it for a month or two, so I'm not too happy with how quickly it fell apart.

Excellent hefty holder, slightly larger than model 36
4/5

In comparison to 36, the section is about 5mm further back, and the body is also 5mm longer. The length of 40 is 1cm longer than 36 when measured from the end of the 40 and 36 sections (they have identical section length). Because it's a larger model, it's a little thicker and feels a little heavier. I'm much more at ease with this model because the heavier holder means I don't have to apply as much pressure to the nib (which might not be such a good idea if switching from a lighter nib holder like deleter's beginner kind, as the pressure will be way off when using G nib). One word of caution to those considering purchasing: be careful when inserting and removing your maru nib from the holder, as the center cylinder bit is not particularly durable (though it did last about a year before I had to replace it).

Very practical and comfortable! This was purchased to replace a cheap plastic nib holder that I had previously purchased
5/5

It's far superior to the low-cost plastic versions. The plush grip is a nice touch. All of my different nibs are securely held in this pen. Inserting and removing nibs was a breeze for me. While I was writing, the nibs did not wiggle. This is an excellent item.

It wasn't quite what I had hoped for, but it was still enjoyable! I really wanted to like this, but it just doesn't fit my Hunt 102 the way I want it to
4/5

It's a little too loose and sticks out a little too far for my taste. It can fit a Jinhao 6 fountain pen nib, as well as a variety of speedball nibs C-sized. Imperial No. 2 and Hunt No. 101 It also fit some random nibs I got with a Bianyo handle (which I prefer because it fits everything better), but I had to do a lot of forcing and bending of some nibs, which I don't like. I'm awaiting the arrival of some Zebra G nibs, which I'm hoping will fit properly. However, given the amount of attention this handle has received, I was a little disappointed. To be honest, it's not a bad holder; it fits comfortably in my hand and includes a cap to protect the nib.
