This case is light and appears to be well-made. It is, however, of poor quality. When you first open the door. Because the top doesn't open all the way back, the flute pieces end up tumbling over each other as they try to get it out. The cleaning rod and cloth have no place in this room. It's almost impossible to close with even a folded cloth inside. By closing the case with the cleaning cloth in it, I was afraid of compressing and breaking the flute's parts. In general. To correct the issues in the next model, the designers of this need to see the problem areas with a flute actually in it. I wish I had purchased a more suitable case for this flute. We didn't start using this flute until school started this year, so I didn't realize it when I bought it.
I appreciate how light this case is and how well it fits our flute. The case is well-made and comes with a shoulder strap, so it should last a long time. The inside is felt-lined, and the molds are perfectly sized for the flute. It won't provide the same level of protection as a hard case, but I wasn't looking for that.
