Questions & Answers

I have a Paititi hard case for a flute that measures 17" x 5" x 2 1/4" and has both curved and straight head joints. Is it going to be big enough?

Because the inside of the top of my case cover measures 17 1/2" by 4 3/4", I'm not sure if your hard case will fit. The case I have in my case cover is smaller, but it has feet, a handle, and latches that add to the size, so it might not fit if yours does as well. It might fit if it's a French case with little or no protrusion. It appears to me that it will either make it or miss it. Please accept my apologies for not being able to be more specific, but it appears to be too close to call. I hope you found this information useful.

How big is the case's interior?

Interior dimensions are 5"x17" and 4" deep in the bottom part. The top section measures 4" x 16" and is just under 2" deep. In the top of my bag, I keep my piccolo (in its case) and a collapsible flute stand.

Is it possible to wash it?

The problem is that the question isn't very specific. Do you want to be able to take your flute outside in the rain safely, or do you want to be able to submerge it in water? I'm assuming you don't want to submerge it in water. The case cover is made of a nylon or nylon-blend fabric that is tightly woven. Fabric, for example. It does not appear to be "waterproof," but it does appear to be "water-resistant." tenacious " I haven't taken my flute anywhere in the rain yet, but I am confident that the case cover would hold up well. I was able to attend my classes despite the light rain. The case cover does not have waterproof zippers, but I believe they are more than adequate for being out in the rain for short periods of time; I believe it provides adequate moisture protection for someone going from car to building, or for someone waiting for a bus who is walking a few blocks. I hope this has provided you with a satisfactory response to your query.

Is there room in the front pocket for a piccolo?

Even a bulky gemeinhardt hard case fit inside of mine, but if the case is french style, you shouldn't have any problems.

CURVED HEAD JOINT CASE IS COMPATIBLE! YES! My son, being the pipsqueak that he is, required a curved headjoint flute
5/5

We purchased a flute with both a curved and a straight headjoint for him. The hard case that came with it was so basic that I felt like he needed something with a little more protection from bumps and the elements (along with handles and space for a cleaning kit, of course). It was a brand new good case with a dedicated spot for both a curved and striahe headjoint. Our budget does not allow for this. However, I came across these covers. These appeared to be large enough to accommodate the extra height of his curved/straight headjoint combo setup, as well as having all of the other features we were looking for (a little more bump and rain protection, space for cleaning accessories, and handles). He adored the fact that it came in his favorite color (teal). It arrived, and we're delighted to say that it satisfies all of our requirements. He's pleased, and I'm pleased that his flute appears to be in good working order and is easy to hold. I've included a photo of his flute to hopefully catch the attention of others looking for something with a curved headjoint system. I'm so happy we came across this and that it works perfectly!.

For students, this is an excellent, sturdy flute case
5/5

Over a year ago, I bought this for my daughter, and she was ecstatic about the purple color! We like that it has a hard flute case and can hold her music. It also allows her to store her cleaning rags/rods outside of her flute, which is how they were intended to be stored. She adores the fact that it has a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap. She likes to use the strap now that she has a lot of things to carry to school. I'll also mention that we've been using it for a year and it still looks brand new after daily use by a middle-aged couple. schooler! No rips, tears, or zipper problems! This purchase was well worth the money to protect her instrument and make it easier for her to transport it back and forth! When I was in school, I wish I had had one!.

I had to go back - However, it is a very attractive case
5/5

For my mother's flute, I bought this. It was chosen by her. We didn't read the description carefully enough and didn't measure her case, so this case cover was about 1/8" too short. She plays in church, does weddings, and other events, so she travels with her flute frequently and needed something like this. We discovered that her hard case is slightly larger than a standard case, so it would have been perfect if it had been just a smidge longer. br>It was simple to return, with no problems, but I wish it had fit.

case. This is essentially a shoulder-mounted camera. dangling gig- Bag for a flute with a hardshell case. I bought one for my niece, who began band last fall, and I loved it so much that I bought one for myself. Because Gemenihardt refuses to put handles on their flute cases for some reason, I use this bag to hold the case. br>br>Moreover, the front accessory pouch was roomy enough to fit my Gemeinhardt piccolo, as well as a few swabs and polishing cloths. br>br>Well-made reinforced nylon mesh material with good zipper and strap quality. I wish the strap clips were metal instead of plastic, but it's still a nice case. It does the job it was designed to do, and it does it well.

It really works
5/5

Very long lasting! I bought it for my son to carry his hard flute case, piccolo, and a silk swab to clean his flute after he's finished playing. I noticed that his teacher's other flute students had protec cases, which I liked because they had space for flute care items. My son used to carry everything in the hard case that came with his flute, but there was never enough room for the extras, and his silk swabs were always lost. He got this about six months ago, and even though he is a teenager, this case is tough enough for his heavy use. br>br>I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this case can hold much more than a hard flute case, a piccolo case, and a swab. He can fit his metronome, a few silk swabs, his smartmusic microphone, and an extra silk swab, as well as a few alcohol wipes, in it. It's a great way for him to keep organized in a small space. He was worried that the case would be too large for his backpack, but it fits perfectly. br>br>I see him using all of the handles, which I believe demonstrates the case's versatility. He particularly enjoys the one at the end, which allows him to carry it vertically. When he has a lot of stuff in his backpack and needs to carry his flute case separately while also needing a hand for another instrument case, the shoulder strap comes in handy. My son also plays the saxophone, and his case lacks a shoulder strap, so the flute bag's inclusion is extremely beneficial to him. br>br>This purchase has exceeded my expectations. It was a good investment. It also arrived in a very short amount of time. It was delivered a day ahead of schedule.

The Carrying Case is Awesome and Sturdy
5/5

This case appears to be very sturdy and strong, and I am confident that it will protect my daughter's flute. This is a carrying case for the flute case, rather than a stand-alone case. Her cleaning cloths, cleaning rod, and pencil will fit perfectly in the outside pocket. We haven't tried a piccolo in the outside pocket, but it appears to be large enough. It's a lot easier to carry with the straps on. This is a case I strongly suggest. It appeals to her.

The material is extremely long-lasting, which I appreciate
4/5

I appreciate the long-lasting material and the fact that my B- grade is still intact. In the main pouch, the foot french style case fits snugly. I also like how the zippers overlap to form a loop that can be secured with a small padlock. br>br>The front pouch holds the cleaning rod, cloths, metronome/tuner, pencils, and piccolo case. br>br> The shoulder strap clips are made of cheap plastic and appear to break easily, which is a disappointment. I have another Protec case with metal clips on the shoulder strap, which gives it a more secure feel. I'm not sure why this one is made of plastic, but it's the only thing that keeps me from giving it five stars.

This is a significant improvement
5/5

For my daughter's flute case, I had ordered a different, less expensive cover. It only lasted a few weeks before the zippers began to fray. br>br>This one, on the other hand, has held up admirably through daily treks from home through high school hallways. You get what you pay for. br>br>If you pay too much, you'll get too little. This book comes highly recommended.
