Of course, the front pouch is designed specifically for the piccolo.
Yes, it fits a B foot; my daughter has a C, but there is still over an inch of room, and the protec website states that it fits both B and C feet. C foot
Water resistant rather than waterproof
I'm not sure which one provides the best protection, but we've had this case for nearly a year and it's been great. I also purchased a clarinet, which has proven to be extremely useful. We adore the soft interior and the fact that each item has its own designated space. We would buy from you again.

Another commenter here stated that the B- is a good grade. If your B-key has a gizmo key, this is correct. When the lid is closed and zipped, it puts pressure on the foot. It's difficult to say whether the same is true of the C trill and auxiliary Bb key, but something on the flute's main tube is also keeping the lid open. The lid of an instrument case should "fall" completely closed; To zip the lid shut, you shouldn't have to squish it down. In every other way, this is a fantastic case; I'd love to keep it, but I can't risk damaging the flute's mechanisms.
This is a fantastic situation. It is both light and tough. I had the previous generation of this case for about 12 years and it was still in excellent condition. Unfortunately, my cleaning rod/cloth developed mold while in storage (always let it dry before zipping it up and storing it), so I replaced it with this new one. br>br>The new generation appears to be just as good, with the addition of a pencil pocket and a pocket for a cleaning rod. The cleaning rod pocket is too short for my cleaning rod, and the pencil pocket is too short for a new (unsharpened) pencil. It's not a deal breaker for me because I just throw everything in the main pocket anyway.
The case arrived promptly, but it was black rather than the blue I had requested. The case itself appears to be in good condition, but the molded part on the inside is too short to accommodate my B foot flute's foot joint. Although it claims to fit B foot flutes, my new Sankyo flute does not fit. I can barely get my old Yamaha B foot flute into the case, but I need it for my new flute. As a result, I returned the case and replaced it with one from a different manufacturer.
However, you'll almost certainly need a second bag for miscellaneous items. This case is well-made and comes in a nice color (I have it in teal blue). My Gemeinhardt 3SB (B Foot; B Foot; B Foot; B Foot; B Foot; B Foot; B Foot; B not new- My bo pep finger saddle fits snugly inside a notch (probably not for what it's there for, but it works!). Although the pocket has enough room for small items, I prefer to use a tote or gig bag when I need to transport anything other than my instrument and music. In general, I'm happy with my purchase. And because of the color options, my case always stands out when I have to put it away. When you're packing up after a concert and everyone's black instrument cases are piled up against the wall, it's nice to have a stage like this.
My old double flute/piccolo case had worn out and kept falling open, so I purchased this one to replace it. My Gemeinhardt piccolo case fits snugly in the outer pocket, or I can opt not to carry it and use the pocket for other essentials like keys or wallet. It's well-stitched, long-lasting, and well-designed, with a good cushion inside to protect and nest the flute pieces. This case appeals to me because of its stylish design, the comfortable, adjustable padded shoulder strap (which my previous case lacked), and the secure zipper closure vs. the snap closure. Closures that can come undone by accident are common. I also like how this case is a lovely purple; people who don't even play an instrument compliment me on my case!.
BUT! It had a lot of potential to be fantastic. BUT! It's not quite right for my Pearl 525 b foot flute. The headjoint and b foot fit perfectly, but the g key on the body doesn't quite fit in the space. DARN. I was really looking forward to getting this case, but due to this, I'll have to return it. Boohoo :.
