Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use a student model piccolo with it?

I have a JPC-Azumi/Jupiter from Azumi/Jupiter. Piccolo composite (305). It's a perfect fit, and most piccolos shouldn't have too much variation in size. Student model piccolos should fit fine as long as they are built similarly to a standard piccolo.

Will a piccilo made of wood be a success? What about the ends that are a little more bulgy?

Yes, a wooden piccolo would be ideal for the case. My piccolo is from Yamaha.

Isn't it merely a case?

Yep! Along with the case itself, it has a nice front pocket with a zipper.

Is there a C foot flute in there somewhere?

This case was designed to fit my open holes B natural foot flute when I purchased it. Because the B natural foot is longer, I believe a C flute would be too loose. Sorry!

Great
5/5

I'm a professional who ordered this case after years of using a Wisemann leather case because my repair tech/flute maker told me that these cases protect flutes better in general. I'm glad I got the double case because that's what drew me to the Wisemann in the first place. My hammig piccolo head joint is in the wave style, and it fits perfectly. It has a spacious and solid feel to it. I'm hoping it will last as long as my Wisemann. It's also a good sign if the keys close when the case is closed - This is beneficial to the longevity of repairs, as well as pads and other similar items. We'll keep you updated as time goes on.

It's the perfect fit! UPDATE: As a music major, I've had this case for the entire fall semester and it's held up fantastically! I switched majors but continue to play in campus ensembles, and it sits comfortably on my shoulder with the strap, and I've never had to worry about my instruments falling out
5/5

br>This case is amazing! I have a 1976 Armstrong piccolo that is impossible to fit in most modern cases, but this case not only fits my piccolo, but also my gemeinhardt flute! It appears to be quite durable (I've had it for about a month). It's used by a high school band and a community band, so it gets a lot of use and wear. It's also a little lighter than carrying both cases separately (as measured on a scale)- This case is fantastic in general!.

Improved case is fantastic! This particular case appeals to me a lot
5/5

It weighs a fraction of the weight of solid wood cases. br>br>It fit my Trevor James B foot and gemeinhardt wood piccolo perfectly. br>br>I noticed someone was concerned about their C trill key being squished by the lid. It appears that the design has been improved. On the top lid, there is now a circular indention that provides space. I don't think it will bother anyone because the lid is already very soft and plush. Now all I need is for them to make cases for my alto and bass flutes!.

Flute and Piccolo Case are in good condition
4/5

I'll be in Europe for a band tour - I needed a case that could hold both my Flute and Piccolo at the same time. This one appeared to be effective. br>br>First and foremost - It was the right size for my Yamaha b-flute. The flat food attachment is ideal. I'm the proud owner of a Yamaha P- Conical bore head joint on a 62 wood piccolo. The piccolo headjoint fits, but it's a little tight and wants to "pop out. " This isn't necessarily a problem because the case's top is well padded and securely holds all of the pieces. br>br>In terms of the case itself, Several other reviewers remarked on the low quality of the zippers- This case's zippers are well-made and sturdy, in my opinion. br>br>This case also fits my Hercules Woodwind stand, which has pegs for flute and piccolo. On both the front and back of the case, there are numerous compartments. The smaller pockets on the inside aren't large enough to hold much. There were also pencil holders, according to the product tag that was attached to the case. I was unable to locate any. Last but not least, br>br> This case does not open flat; the top opens at a 90-degree angle to the bottom, and the top refuses to stay up, so it closes as you put your instrument away. br>br>With the exception of a few minor details, this is an excellent case.

You can't go wrong with this case
5/5

My daughter has been using the protec max flute case for two years and it is still in good condition. I got her this combo case to make it easier for her to transport her instruments. The case is large enough to hold her flute, piccolo, and Hercules stand.

Perfect~
5/5

The case is well-made. On my flute, I use a c foot joint. It will comfortably fit both a c and a b foot. The piccolo part isn't quite as I expected; you'll have to disassemble it to fit it into the case. This isn't a deal breaker, though. It's convenient to have everything in one location. Cleaning rods and a set of screwdrivers fit in the exterior pocket. My polishing rags, pencil, eraser, and reading glasses all fit in there as well. Everything is in one convenient location. Win win!.

It's ideal for students in middle and high school
5/5

For middle and high school students who already have a lot of belongings, this is an excellent case. This case is one of my son's favorites because it perfectly fits his piccolo and flute. It's not quite as precise as the cases that came with them, but the ease of use outweighs the perfect fit. It closes with a zipper and velcro. It also has a pocket on the outside for storing the piccolo cleaning tool, as well as a zipper pocket on the other side for storing the flute cleaning tool. The only thing I'd change is to make more room inside the case for the cleaning tools next to the flute so that the kids can stay more organized. A luggage tag is included with it. I'm pleased with the outcome of this case in general.

This is an ideal situation
5/5

My daughter is a flutist who has recently added the piccolo to her repertoire. Her pricey piccolo came with a case that didn't have a handle. I was looking for a piccolo case with a handle on Amazon when I came across this one. It's ideal, as it accommodates both instruments and is well-padded. This case is ideal for carrying and protecting instruments for any professional. It has made us extremely happy. We got it right away, and it's exactly what I wanted.
