Dear AThornhill, The cleaning rod can be found on the bottom of the upper bout of this flute case. br>I hope I've answered your question; I appreciate your interest.br>Best,br>Georgebr>Sky Music
Dear D. Mandara,br>This case will undoubtedly fit an Armstrong 104, and in fact, it will hold most C foot flutes. br>I hope I've answered your question, and I appreciate your interest. br>Best wishes, Georgebr>Sky Music
The flute is fully protected by the main compartment, which is made of hard plastic. My daughter bangs her flute case around a lot and it never breaks. Because the outside pocket is soft, a piccolo must be placed in a hard case before being placed in it.
Under the pink material, it's tough. The pink material is of excellent quality and long-lasting. Two thumbs up for this article.

This was exactly a year ago when I purchased it for my daughter. The strap snapped almost immediately. I didn't know for a few weeks because she didn't tell me right away, but she had already gotten rid of her other hard case, and since she needed her flute every day, she didn't want to wait to return and get a new one (I'm not sure this would've been the procedure, but she was being very stubborn). She kept using it after tying it to the ring. We had to carefully work some of the foam down to create a long enough cradle for one piece at first because the flute didn't fit well. The strap that keeps the top from falling back has worn down to threads in recent years. br>While this case was attractive, the quality was poor. We'll spend a little more on the Pro Tec Max case in the hopes of getting more than a year out of it.
It's worth noting that we purchased the purple case because each color appears to be made differently. It's for a replacement hard case for our 10-year-old's used Armstrong flute, which unfortunately doesn't fit as well in the slots - They're strewn about, so she has to be cautious when opening the case. I also asked where the slot for the cleaning rod is located, and the general response was "above the lid where the zippers are" - which we were unable to locate despite our best efforts. That slot does not appear to be present in the purple case. I took a picture (attached here) of where that slot is and noticed a small tear on the edge by the zipper (we just bought and received it today; she hasn't even tried it on!). I'm not sure how long this case will last, but it's a beautiful color. It's exactly as described, and it's a breeze to carry around - I like how there's a pocket on the front for her cleaning supplies. Overall, it does not appear to be well made, and I am concerned about the instrument's fit. Only time will tell if this is true.
I thought this was going to be a case where you put your flute in its hard case, but the flute parts fit right inside the case. But it wasn't exactly what I was looking for. This does not appear to offer the same level of protection as the original hard case. I had planned to keep a U-Haul trailer in my garage. In the outside pocket, there was a headjoint, but it didn't fit and provided no protection.
The main compartment's interior is identical to the interior of her hard case, which she adores because it's PURPLE!.
The odor is very strong. The Pearl flute is a good fit for me. For my carry-on, I needed a case that was as light as possible. while on the road It's finished now. I never use a shoulder strap with an instrument case because I've seen them break, even on high-end cases. I chose the brown one, which I like, but I'm not sure how durable the zippers will be.
There's no room for a cleaning rod unless you put it across the G key of the flute, which could damage it. There is usually an indented space for it in most cases. It won't fit in the outside pocket because it's too short. During the Q A couple of responses suggest that the cleaning rod can fit in the bottom of the lid for this product; In the case we received, however, this was not the case. We came back to get a different item.
After the handle on her previous hard case broke, I bought this for my 13-year-old daughter. She chose this case right away, with the only hesitation being which color to choose from the many options! It arrived quickly, and I was pleasantly surprised by how light but sturdy this case felt, as it protects her flute, is easy to carry around, has a pocket for extras, and is a fantastic color. We strongly advise against it.
It's ideal for students in primary school. The quality of the product does not impress me. The zipper is difficult to open and close, and the stitching and fabric appear to be of poor quality. It's hard to say how long it'll last. I'm not sure the flute would survive being stepped on if the case was stepped on.
