Yes, if you're referring to the "B" note's gizmo key. I've looked at a lot of cases, and this is by far the most beautiful one I've seen at a reasonable price. To protect the wood, you will need to purchase a case cover. I hope this has been of assistance.

It's a lovely case; the logo was a little bothersome at first, but we found a custom brass nameplate on Etsy that fit perfectly over the logo and matched the case clips, and it's now perfect. br>br>Edit: ENGRAVER1 was the name of the Etsy shop I used. Although Amazon may not allow me to keep it up, here is the link:.
After all that effort in sanding and lining the wood, you'd think they'd be willing to invest in a good, dependable latch! Not so. The latches are only half-closed. heartedly and loosely, with one side requiring a few tweaks to get it to work. It seems strange to scrimp on quality in such a place. Given the fact that the case involves a large sum of money- a flute is worth! It's back to square one.
I thought this case was a great choice at first because the flute seemed to fit perfectly and the wood exterior appealed to me. After a few months of use, however, I began to notice scratching on the flute's body. For me, it's back to the case of the manufacturer.
This case is extremely durable, well-made, and made of beautiful wood. It's heavier than the original synthetic/plastic case that came with the flute, which is understandable. My flute is a little too tight for me. I'm the proud owner of a B-grade Jupiter. The wooden case and the foot fit perfectly inside the original, soft-sided box. a carrying case with two sides I could have done without the engraving, but I knew it was there when I bought it. I like the idea of covering it with a brass nameplate suggested by other reviewers. plate. This is likely to last as long as the flute did.
My Paititi mahogany flute case is fantastic. My Pearl flute, which has a B foot, fits perfectly in the case. When the case is open, it also lays flat, making it simple to insert the flute. The wood is lovely, and the case is well constructed.
On these three cases, I didn't like the broken and/or discolored hardware. I was aware of the obnoxious logo on the tops of the cases, but the stench sealed the deal, and they were returned.
My Yamaha YFL 385 flute had always deserved a wooden case. This is a lovely case for a reasonable price!br>br>Craig.
My new wooden hard flute case has a really nice look to it.
