Questions & Answers
Greetings, and thank you for your "grate" question! =) The finer drum can be used on tougher foods like chocolate and hard cheeses, resulting in grater-like results. (The food will be fine and almost powder-like in texture.) like). These drums, on the other hand, have only one set of teeth. directional, and are used for "shredding" in general. They don't have the traditional grater teeth that you'd find on an upright grater, which can grate in any direction and grind hard foods to powder. As a result, we provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I recommend that you give the grater a try, and if it doesn't live up to your expectations, please contact me for a full refund! Thank you very much! br>

Hi there. Thank you very much for your inquiry. Yes, you can use the left-hand side of the drum. handed. Please keep in mind that the drum's grating holes only face one direction, so if you use it left-handed, the grating holes will face the wrong way. If you're left-handed, you'll need to turn the handle in the opposite direction (away from you) than if you're right-handed. (You are being handed over). I'd like to make sure it's crystal clear because we've had one customer complain about it. Of course, if you're unhappy with it after you buy it, we'll refund your money, even if it's outside of Amazon's 30-day return policy. Refund policy is one day. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me (Di Regale Brands). Thank you, Nancy, br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>br>b
This grater was used to grate carrots and celery root. One grater wheel has finer/smaller holes, while the other has larger but not massive holes. I mostly use the bigger one. I'd expect horse radish to be perfect, and it loves to grate on my grater. For large batches, CuisineArt is the way to go. This is ideal for serving smaller portions. (Not to mention the cool little containers for pregrating things.) as well as for storage.
I have no idea. You may get in touch with the manufacturer. They appear to be straightforward in their dealings with you.

However, customer service that is on par with Amazon's! If you want to grate hard cheeses like pecorino romano or parmesan, you'll need a different grater. After a few months, the drum on my first one developed a crack, which I attributed to washing it with too hot water. I wash with very hot water when I'm wearing gloves because I can't feel it through the gloves. After two months of use, my second one broke, but this time it was the stem on the drum insert, as shown in the photo. I contacted the company and informed them that something had gone wrong, and guess what I got back? crickets. There was no sound at all. br>br>The best piece of advice I can give is to look for something that isn't designed to be thrown away. EDIT: br>br> br>br>The manufacturer sent me a message. Nancy addressed my concerns by explaining that there was a problem with the manufacturing process that resulted in some units failing, as I had. My two came from the same lot because they were from such a similar time period. br>br>Nancy has gone above and beyond to resolve the issue of the broken graters, and I am grateful for her efforts. It's uncommon for a manufacturer or seller to value a customer, let alone go above and beyond expectations. br>br>For our next dinner, I'm looking forward to the replacement grater! br>br>I've always believed that while defects do occur, how a company handles them determines whether or not I will buy from them again. br>br>Edit 2: Based on my interactions with the company, I believe it is deserving of my continued support. br>br> br>br>We've been using the replacement for nearly a year now, and it's still going strong. We mostly use it when we have dinner in the dining room, which isn't every day, because its white color matches our plates and tableware. When I'm grating chocolate for desserts, I also use it.
While this appears to be a good grater for the money, it's so poorly constructed that when grating a hard cheese like parmesan, the body flexes so much that the greater hits the housing, causing the plastic to be grated along with the cheese (see the gouged lines in the photo). br>br>This is going to be thrown away. br>br>I'm still on the hunt for a good grater. It appears that no one anymore makes a good grater. Why?.
This item is exactly what it says on the package. This was purchased as a present for someone. I make it a habit to open gift packages to ensure that everything is in working order. I opened and used this product, then ordered a second to give as a gift because it looked so good. It works flawlessly, and the fact that it can be used by either left or right-handed people is particularly impressive. Aside from being thoughtful, the inclusion of two shaker jars is an added bonus. The jars are designed to fit into the grater so that whatever is grated goes straight into the jar, with no spillage. I believe there is none better, and the price is very reasonable. br>I received a nice email from the family owner of the company that makes this item a few days after it was delivered. Yes, there was a request for an Amazon review of the item. The sense of genuine pride in the product that the family has in their product was more important to me as a buyer; maybe it's just me, but I prefer dealing with a family rather than a faceless corporation.
The plastic, on the other hand, kept breaking, but I was able to repair it and extend its life to five years. This one appealed to me because of the emphasis on indestructibility. I liked the small cups, but I thought the drum was too small, resulting in sharp cheese tails. Because the press was too flexible, it collided with the cheese case before it was fully depressed. That was fine by me, and the plastic was never damaged - BUT- Both of the metal graters had to be dismantled!! The first lasted about three months, while the second lasted about six months.
Constructed entirely of one piece The handle and turn handle are not included. incredibly robust Cleaning is a breeze. disassemble grater cylinders should be removed and replaced. When using, there will be no mess. The top of the cheese does not bulge out. Large or small hands (right or left handed) will find the handle to be very accommodating! I like how the grater cylinders have a white band around them. It serves as a guide for grating cheese on a pizza or casserole in addition to being used to attach the storage bottles. The cheese reaches the very edge of both without flying all over the place. I'm very happy with the product, as well as the information and suggestions provided by Nancy. Thank you very much!.
I thought long and hard about ordering this grater to replace my VERY ANCIENT Zyliss metal grater, which I thought should be retired. When I first opened the box, I was ecstatic. It looked nice, and the little "collection bottles" were a nice touch. When I went to use it (with the larger holed drum) to grate a bunch of cheddar cheese (which I had frozen for 20 minutes as the instructions suggested), I was very disappointed in the feel of the plastic grater - It felt as if it was about to snap at any moment. It was extremely inconvenient to work with. I'm glad I kept my old metal grater instead of throwing it away. If I do decide to replace it, I'll do so with a metal tool. It will be returned, so please accept my apologies!.
genius. The unit is simple to put together and disassemble for cleaning. I'm glad it's made of plastic rather than metal because the lighter weight makes it more convenient to use. The key to getting the best grating results is to apply pressure to the lever that holds the food in place. The handle can be used by people who are right or left handed, which is a nice feature. The price is reasonable, the product is of good quality, and it is simple to operate. It's the most amazing device I didn't even realize I needed! I would strongly suggest it.
