This zester is the best one I've ever used - It's sharp and easy to use when zesting lemons. I used to have trouble getting along with other zesters. So far, this has been my only use of it.
Sure, why not? Make a hole in one of the eyes and turn it upside down to drain the liquid. Then, similar to a hammer, crack the coconut open with the back of a heavy knife. Finally, a large lectionary will be scooped out and grated as desired. I hope this information is useful.
You have to be very careful, but I was able to grated garlic successfully.

The end result is spectacular! It is as advertised, razor sharp, and makes zesting lemons and slicing Parmesan cheese a breeze. Although the size is larger than I expected, it is the ideal size for this application. Simply rinsing it under running water is enough to clean it. I would strongly suggest it.
As a passionate cook and baker, I've used a lot of zesters in my time. I'm impressed with this zester because it has a large surface area, a good grip, a stand on the opposite side to lean it over a work surface, and sharp little blades that zest easily.
I seem to be zesting lemons all the time, and the grater I was using wasn't designed for zesting, so I ordered a new one. I really like that it comes with a cover and a cleaning brush. That makes it a lot easier to get all of the lemon peel out of the tiny zesting openings. For all of my amazing lemon cakes, pies, and custards, I use this tool to get a nice finely zested peel. Since I was able to get an even greater amount from using this zester, I even frozen some of the zest with some lemon juice so that I could use it later.
Apart from being significantly longer and larger than I anticipated (did I read the specifications? ), it's fine. No, I didn't make this up), but it works wonders for removing the zest from lemons quickly and efficiently. When a small amount of something needs to be done and a food processor seems like overkill, I expect it to work just as well as a hand grater. br>br>I've been baking a lot lately, and I'm a huge fan of lemon-flavored (and citrus-flavored) foods. My previous grater had vanished (I'm not sure how something as small as a grater could vanish). Finally, I caved in and placed an order for this. It's a breeze to hold, and the metal glides over the lemon's surface effortlessly. Because I suffer from arthritis in my hands, having something that works so well was a huge relief. br>br>A cover and a small brush for cleaning are included with the zester. However, despite my five-star rating (I'd give it a four and a half if I could), cleaning it isn't as simple as it appears. It appeared to be too delicate to put in the dishwasher, so I gave it a good rinsing under the tap with the brush, and it still took some effort to get all the bits out. To avoid grating your skin, you should avoid actually touching the metal cutting bits. br>Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, though I don't know how long it will last at this point.
Using this zester in my cooking has been a lot of fun. I adore freshly grated hard cheeses, but I was tired of constantly having to break out my large food processor to grate cheese when all I needed was a few tablespoons. The simplicity with which I can use this zester saves me time not only in the preparation of delicious meals, but also in the cleanup. All of my needs are met by the design. Oranges, lemons, limes, ginger, garlic, and, of course, cheese were among the items I zested. This zester produces very fine shavings, which I like. It's also simple to clean up. It's nice and sharp, so there's no need to press too hard. My family especially enjoys spaghetti night now that I can grate a fine dusting of parmesan right in front of their eyes, just like they do in fine restaurants. It's the ideal length, and it's both sturdy and light, making it an excellent kitchen tool. This would be an excellent gift for anyone who enjoys cooking!.
I'd always wanted a zester like this, and I needed to zest four lemons for a new recipe. In less than five minutes, I was able to zest the lemons and clean the tool. Because it was long and I could rest the rubber foot on a plate while I zested, I felt much safer using it. There was no pith in the zested product, which appeared as very thin ribbons. When I washed the zester by hand, I made sure to wash with the grain to avoid getting cut. I didn't use the brush that came with it because I washed it right away. It also includes an easy-to-remove cover. What a fantastic purchase!.
The first thing I did with it was zest a lemon slice. I make a lot of iced tea with lemons, but I try to save the peel for cooking. It's difficult to zest a small piece of lemon, but this tool makes it look easy. I was astounded at how much more of the good peel this tool could remove than my old zester, while avoiding the bitter white part. One iced- tea- I'm kicking myself for not having discovered this item years and years ago; a single sized slice yielded twice as much zest as I usually get with almost no effort; I'm kicking myself for not discovering this item years and years ago. It's a "must-have" in the kitchen.
I was completely taken aback by how long it was! That is, however, a plus in my book. It stands on a flat surface, making it easier to use than if you had to hold it in your hands. It's a well-made piece of equipment. It comes with a brush to clean it or get all of the zest or whatever else you want to put in it. br>br>Because I haven't used it yet, I gave it a 4 rating. I'll post an update once I've used it. I believe it is a good product at a reasonable price.
