These are of reasonable quality, but they aren't particularly sharp. You have to apply a lot of force to them, for example. It's better to use a regular box grater.
This is an excellent set! For the past two months or so, I've had it. Holding the big greater can be awkward and painful for someone who suffers from arthritis. These are less messy and easier to hold. They're sturdy and grate well, even when I need a larger zesting size than my microplane can provide. I grate fresh ginger with the spice grater, which worked well. The color is fantastic, and the quality is excellent. This is a product that I would strongly recommend.
The pink four-piece graters, on the other hand, are fantastic! The price is unbeatable, and the color is just right for my retro kitchen! The cheese is just the right size and shreds like butter. The quality is above average, and if they aren't damaged, they will last for a long time. I don't soak them in dishwater for hours; instead, I clean them with soap and water. a brush with a handle from the dollar store It's possible that I won't be able to use them for the rest of my life. They're fun, functional, and well worth about $2, so they'll be around for a while. 50 each! It's difficult to find kitchen items in a cute pink color! They're now a part of my daily routine! They also show off a lot of talent. br>.
It worked perfectly for gelatinized carrots. Also works well is a lemon zester. I haven't tried any of the others yet, but I'm sure they'll be just as good as the heater and lemon zester.
The set, according to other reviewers, is dull. They are correct! I zested four lemons the day before yesterday. I have the impression that I am sprinting. By saying zested, you're allowing yourself to be taken advantage of. It took the better part of the morning, I had to put a lot of pressure on the grater because the zester wasn't cutting it. I have a part of me that thinks they should be returned. It was nice not to have to worry about my finger if I bought a better set, but it was also nice not to have to worry about it. I probably would not have purchased this set if I had known how dull they are. Oh! There was water in the handle after it was washed, so there's that.
I threw them away. When I tried to grate a carrot with the toughest one, it blended, bowed, and slipped around. It's not even worth it to return. I'll buy Zellers twice and then go to a store to get a better product that works well and lasts.
I'd been waiting for a set like this, so I'm thrilled to have it, and I'm sure I'll put it to good use. I also like how it fits in my hand.
