The blades are attached to the handle by the handle. Place a blade in the clear cylinder, then attach the handle by pressing down on the black knob and sliding it over the red part of the blade that protrudes from the cylinder.
You're grating soft cheese, right? It's going to stay put. Even when using a box grater to grate soft cheese, it "glops," but it at least falls straight down. It's only for hard cheeses (Parmesan, Romano, etc.) that I use it for. ) or nuts
Hello. Yes, this cheese grater's suction works extremely well. Here's a video that demonstrates how to secure the suction. I hope this has been of assistance.

Fine grating, large grating, and vegetable slicing are all made easier with the three retaining blades included. I really like this design because it rotates to shred cheese in seconds, just like it says. I'm very pleased with this rotary grater; it saves me a lot of time when grating cheese, as opposed to my old box grater, and I like the concept. As you can see in my video, it's very simple. In addition, the grater can be washed in the dishwasher. SAVE YOUR TIME! STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!.
I found this rotary cheese grater on Amazon after doing some research. I've used it a couple of times and, of course, it's a good product that can quickly shred cheese without scrubbing the counter, and I really like it. The only thing you need to remember is to place it on a smooth counter so that you can secure the base (if you can't secure the base on the table, it will be difficult to use the grater). ) The transparent portion is also very clear, well made for the price, so why not give it a shot?.
This is a fantastic product for someone who has arthritis in their hands. I don't grate cheese all the time, but 1- In less than 5 minutes, a large block of cheese can be reduced to a large bowl of grated cheese twice a week. It might take 15 minutes to grate the cheese by hand on a manual grater, but it would take me about half an hour with my arthritis. Cleaning is as simple as disassembling it, running it under hot water to clear it, then giving it a quick scrub with a handled brush, rinsing it, and you're done. The only issue I have, for which I will not deduct a star, is that you must remove the grated cheese from the wheel after each block or it will stay in and pack in, requiring removal with a hard object, leaving everything in a mushy clump. That was a blunder I made a few years ago. But, after each block, simply reach in and pull it out; you're done in 2 seconds. It's not worth it to take away a star for a minor annoyance. Oh, and if you use too much force, you'll break something. I was on the verge of doing so, and there's no reason to use force or a lot of pressure. Also, make sure to LOCK the device to the surface before using it, otherwise it will become unwieldy.
The video shows how well this product looks and works. This item appears to be a toy in my opinion. It's not very sturdy when you're using it; the vegetables come out paper thin; it constantly jams; it slides all over the place; you have to hold the product and your vegetable with one hand because if you don't, it'll slide all over the table as you crank it; and I guess the bottom of it is supposed to suction to your table or counter top. NO, the suction is ineffective. I like the concept, but the product is a toy that does not function as described in the videos. Very dissatisfied.
I bought a new grater from HSN, but the handle kept popping out while grating, and the suction wouldn't hold. br>br>I purchased this one about two weeks ago, and it is fantastic. br>br>The handle is much sturdier, the suction is much stronger, the part where the grater meets the handle is more complex, and it's sloped at an angle so the nuts don't pile up right on the plate's edge. br>br>I primarily use it to grate pistachios, mozzarella, and onions. br>Thus far, everything has gone well.
UPDATED: I've been in touch with the manufacturer/seller since April 9, 2020. They confirmed that the broken piece was a decorative end cap that had no bearing on the device's functionality, and that the way and where it broke in my case did not result in the pieces getting into the food. Because of Covid- Because of the 19 delivery restrictions, I had to use a different style of grater, and I'm missing the suction cup on this unit, which was extremely strong and sturdy/safe. I'd try this grater again when/if things get back to normal. br>br>I bought this for my father because his 50-year-old metal box grater was starting to fall apart in the food, which was not fun. Everything seemed to be included in this roto grater: Safety, comfort, and speed are all important factors. br> The first problem was that the slicing blade drum was misshaped, preventing it from turning. When we contacted Amazon, they dispatched a second unit to collect the missing pieces. Things were fine for a few weeks after that, but it finally broke yesterday. It appears to be an end cap, but I'm not sure what it's for since the clear plastic unit can still be attached to the suction base. However, the back now has a jagged plastic edge, and there are clear plastic bits to be concerned about getting into the food. It was fortunate that it was on the device's back; if it had been near the food shoot, it would have been more of a concern. I'm well aware that nothing is truly safe when it comes to food utensils. However, there is a significant difference between 50 years and 3 weeks for a box grater to fall apart. I was willing to give it another shot, but Amazon informed me that when they replaced the unit, they also refunded me, so I'd have to send the broken one back. I'll probably buy something else because, with the pandemic, nothing is in stock or will ship quickly, so I'll have time to do some more research. The suction cup base was extremely firm and stable; I only wish the rest of the unit was built to the same high standard.
We don't buy shredded cheese, so this will withstand repeated use and dishwasher cleaning.
I like it and have used it for walnuts and cheese on a couple of occasions. br>I strongly advise you to read it.
