The reason for this is as follows: STRONGNESS THE THICKNESS OF THE THICKNESS OF THE THICKNES The liners from MyHomyline are a little thicker than those from other brands. It's not a huge difference, but it's noticeable when you take it out of the box. Many of the oven liners I mentioned earlier are VERY THIN and FLIMSY, and drippings can burn holes in them. When I lift the coil to clean it, I pinch the middle of the Liner, but because it's so flimsy, the back of the liner is limp, and the crumbs and burnt pieces simply slide back into the oven. But not thebr>MyHomyline! I pinch the middle and the back of it stays firm, allowing me to slide it out with no crumbs! I hope this information is useful to anyone considering purchasing this item.
I had no idea what to expect when I bought these; I was looking for a less expensive alternative to aluminum foil, and I certainly found it in this product; these oven liners are an excellent product!br>I received four large nonstick oven liners, all neatly packaged in the protective film. br>After a few weeks of use, here are some of the answers to the questions I had while considering purchasing this: br>1) How simple is it to clean them? I simply rinse with warm water to remove all unwanted food deposits and spills, which is extremely simple. 2) Is there a smell to them? They don't, in fact. br>3) Do you have to go out of your way to keep them? Nope! I simply clean them, fold them, and store them in a drawer with other materials of the same type. I do, however, rinse and re-hydrate them. When I'm about to use them again, I'll make sure they're completely dry. br>4) Are they thick enough, and are they a good substitute for aluminum foil? So far, I'm inclined to say yes. All drips, spills, and grease are caught in them. My electric oven's bottom is kept clean thanks to these oven liners. br>5) Are they worth the money? I've calculated savings from other non-essential items. These liners are the best of the reusable products. br>6) Is it possible to cook on the liner itself? Yes, I used them to roll out dough and bake an apple pie for my husband, and they worked perfectly. br>Overall, I think this is a fantastic product, and I'll buy it again when this one wears out.
This item specifies that it can be used on the oven's bottom, but the instructions specifically state that it should not be used on the oven's floor or bottom. This would have worked beautifully in my European convection oven. I'm dissatisfied with the situation.
These are the best things that have ever happened to me! They do an excellent job of keeping the floor of my oven clean. You can put them under the heating element if the element has "feet" that keep the coil from touching the oven floor directly. No more melted cheese or sauces on the bottom of my ovens, and cleanup is a breeze. I like that I can cut it down to fit in my toaster oven as well. This product has made my life in the kitchen so much easier, and I adore it.
In the bottom of my oven, the liner had burned through. I smelled the fire for a while, but there was no fire, and it was gone in a month. I don't believe I have an unusually shaped oven, and it isn't particularly filthy. I would not purchase this item again.
The best quality I've found on Amazon, and they're incredibly easy to clean after you've baked some cookies on them. I keep one in the bottom of the oven at all times to help keep it clean. I also use these for my stove top; I cut two of them to fit the dimensions of my gas stove, and they work perfectly.
We moved into a newly constructed home, and 6 months later, we discover that they chose the cheapest oven ever, with no self-cleaning capability. feature that is tidy (Discovered after our oven smoked every time we turned it on, setting off our smoke alarms) I cleaned it up as best I could (we live in a no-chemical household) and got these to make things easier in the future. What a breeze to use; they're just like the grill mats I've had for years, and if something spills on them, I simply pull it out of the oven while it's still hot and rinse it off.
I was looking for a way to protect my stainless steel stove tops from finger prints and smudges, which irritate me. I was on the verge of spending $60 on a Stoveguard® brand cover. Then I came to the realization that I could do it myself for less money. I only needed one of these when I bought them. I used five of the sheets to cover my 36" stovetop, which worked perfectly. Full burners aren't a problem, and the stove is much cleaner!.
