I bought this mat because of its large size (at the same time, I bought a smaller mat from a different brand). no duh- projects that are smaller ) I like the large size, and the mat does a good job of gripping the counter and keeping it from moving around. It's simple to clean and dries quickly, allowing it to be put away again. What I don't like about it is that it attracts dirt and debris. I expected to be able to roll out pie, biscuit, or cookie dough without having to use a lot of flour, but that was not the case. This mat sticks even better than my old Tupperware mat where there isn't enough flour under the dough.

Unlike the other two mats I recently purchased, I was extremely pleased with this one. It's about the same thickness as my old mat and comes with the same fiberglass mess. It's a good size, with circle guides in the middle labeled in inches and centimeters. I was able to roll out pastry without having to put weights in the corners or worry about the mat sliding. With soap and hot water, cleaning was simple and quick. In every way, it's a close match for the Roulpat, but it's a lot less expensive.

This is exactly what I was looking for in a pizza mat to stretch a 16" pizza on. The quality is excellent, and it is thick enough that you won't be afraid to cut through it (though I wouldn't). It adheres to my granite countertop and does not budge or slide once in place. It came folded, but I prefer to store it rolled up. On the mat, there are conversion charts, which is a nice touch.
