It hasn't slipped on me yet. I use a damp cloth to wipe down my counter, do not dry it, and then place the mat on top.
I haven't tried it yet, but here's what it says on the box: CLEANING IS QUICK AND EASY. STORAGE: Keep your work surface clean with this large nonstick sheet. Even burnt sugar and fat fall off, as does leftover dough, leaving only a quick wipe down, a warm soapy water rinse, or a dishwasher to clean up.
I believe so, given that it can be used as an oven liner. Temperature safe up to 450 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm not sure about putting a hot pot on top of it, though. To be sure, place something small and hot in the corner.

There will be no sliding! Hi. I bought one for a lot more money and had to return it because it was too big- But it slid all over the table, just like I do when I'm on ice, which isn't what I wanted; I have my grandmother's mat, which also slides. The last time I made noodles, the dangling thing almost emptied the entire pot into the sink or onto the floor. I was looking for something sticky, and I found it. This is a type, stay-put mat, and I adore how it grabs hold of the table and never moves! PERFECT! It's soft and flexible, and you can fold or roll it up to fit your needs. Everything comes off easily, and it stays put! I couldn't be more pleased! Apart from that, the price was fantastic! This is the mat for you if you don't want your mat to slide around. It also appears to be quite long-lasting. Take a chance--that's what I did--and see what happens. I also discovered something I wish I'd had many years ago! Fire.
I bought this mat because of its large size (at the same time, I bought a smaller mat from a different brand). no duh- projects that are smaller ) I like the large size, and the mat does a good job of gripping the counter and keeping it from moving around. It's simple to clean and dries quickly, allowing it to be put away again. What I don't like about it is that it attracts dirt and debris. I expected to be able to roll out pie, biscuit, or cookie dough without having to use a lot of flour, but that was not the case. This mat sticks even better than my old Tupperware mat where there isn't enough flour under the dough.
Unlike the other two mats I recently purchased, I was extremely pleased with this one. It's about the same thickness as my old mat and comes with the same fiberglass mess. It's a good size, with circle guides in the middle labeled in inches and centimeters. I was able to roll out pastry without having to put weights in the corners or worry about the mat sliding. With soap and hot water, cleaning was simple and quick. In every way, it's a close match for the Roulpat, but it's a lot less expensive.
This is exactly what I was looking for in a pizza mat to stretch a 16" pizza on. The quality is excellent, and it is thick enough that you won't be afraid to cut through it (though I wouldn't). It adheres to my granite countertop and does not budge or slide once in place. It came folded, but I prefer to store it rolled up. On the mat, there are conversion charts, which is a nice touch.
My old mat had to be rolled and stored in a tube, which made it difficult to store (20" long tube) and caused the mat to retain its tubular shape over time, making it impossible to keep flat. It had a habit of moving, and I was recently forced to tape it to my counter (which I didn't always do because they are designed to be non-stick). stick). The Dani and Dean mat arrived folded in a box, but as soon as I opened it and gave it a gentle shake, it sprung to life and took up residence on my kitchen counter - Non-slip and completely flat. skid. This larger size, as well as the non-slip surface, are two of my favorite features. a non-stick surface that cuts down on the amount of flour used in the dough-handling process I intend to use my new mat for many years to come.
This is something I bought for my girlfriend to use because she is new to baking. It is a huge hit with her. This took the place of a smaller baking sheet she had. "Is this for professional or commercial use?" she wondered at first. " because it was significantly larger, thicker, and more attractive than her previous one. Make sure you have a large enough overcoat because this beast is massive. It was packaged in a small box, neatly rolled up.
(Encaustic painting is a technique that involves painting with molten wax. ) ) This means it has the potential to set a large portion of the environment on fire, or at the very least, cause significant damage. This silicone matt is the same width as my work table and provides excellent burn protection. It also prevents melted wax from sticking to my hands when I spill it. Despite the fact that it was designed for baking, it also works well for hot wax art.
) that I found after doing a lot of research. 7mm), which I found and am very pleased with. I'm a serious pizza and sourdough bread maker, and I needed something that would protect my formica countertop from being scratched by my metal dough scraper while also being easy to clean, and this item met both of those criteria admirably. Despite being packed loosely in a square package to save shipping space, the mat laid out perfectly flat with no indentations or bends. On a flat surface, the mat does not slip.
