One thing I noticed was they had screeds with welded ends- The caps lock. Do the ones with plastic end caps have a major advantage over the ones with metal end ?

don't come with welded or replaceable caps, but instead, they are equipped with As far as I know, the Department of Transportation does not permit Aluminum (those with the welded caps) screeds to work concrete due to the interaction between the two. When I use Bon Magnesium screed to lay down ramps, walkways, and parking areas, they'll be fully compliant with ADA regulations. Through Amazon, I made three purchases of these. Each arrived in perfect condition with no issues. Within a week of placing the order, the product was delivered for a very reasonable price. It is great to know that Amazon carries these Bon tools!

Can you tell me how straight the length is?

The thickness of each foot is .0125". (Dimensions @ 10' are 1/4")

Would you mind taking one of those wide and long cans that are four inches wide and 12 inches long?

A bent and useless thing

Using scissors, cut the screed into two smaller pieces. Bent when it arrived.

It has been used on at least four different concrete jobs just within the last week. The product works great and stays true to its purpose. That was the goal we were trying to achieve.
