I think it is correct, the item is wrapped in a thin cardboard paper, then we place it in a box with filler, and then we ship it out.

According to the appearance of the finish marks, it was 80 grit

A very firm product, but not a straight line. I felt that the finish was a bit rough, as there were marks on it that appeared to be 80-grit.

You have a great straight edge! The Starrett straight edge is a good product and Amazon has good shipping rates, so I chose the Starrett straight edge

The straight edge will be employed to set up guitar neck and frets, as well as a variety of straight edge duties as required. I was very pleased with how quick and flawless the delivery was! I would purchase this item again if I broke it, and as anyone who deals with close tolerance tools knows, once I break it, it'll be back at the store for a replacement!.
