A gap can be seen at the top of the photo when zoomed in. One of the items isn't rectangular.

If you don't want your cuts or lines to be 1/16 to 1/8 out of square, this isn't the tool for you. br>Across the 6 inches, the Carpenter square was 1/16 out of square. br>Across the 16" length of the combination square, it was 1/8 out of square. br>Save your money and don't waste it on this nonsense.
