I'm not sure how it happened, but this "square" is anything but square. At the four-foot end, it's 1/4 inch off. As a result, it's a hefty straight edge. I'm not sure if it was put together incorrectly or if it was damaged during shipping, but it was a complete waste of money.
square. I bought this for my wife so she wouldn't have to borrow mine for her crafts. I've had mine for years and have used it for a variety of projects around the shop. It's a well-made piece. It's come in handy for a variety of projects, including home repairs and woodworking.
Yep. Yes, you guessed correctly. The product was also bent and distorted in the same way, rendering it useless. I returned it the same day and went to my local Home Depot to purchase another for $7. 8 less. Of course, shipping mishaps occur, but a simple sticker that reads "fragile do not bend" could save everyone a lot of grief. Aside from that, I'm sure it would have worked out fine.
A T-square that is, in fact, square! I bought a few from a nearby hardware store, but they weren't quite square. I used this to help me draw all the lines for laying down hardwoods, and I was able to get to the 16th hole in 30 feet! It's square, no doubt!.
This summer, I used it for a variety of home improvement projects as well as some custom builds. Not just for drywall, but for some larger wood construction projects as well. It's an excellent tool in general. br>It's worked perfectly so far. Straight and true, and the T is square - a great deal for the price. 90 degree angles are perfect. I don't have any complaints or issues. I would purchase this item again if necessary, and I have already recommended it to a few friends.
It'll obviously do the job, but the fact that it arrived used is a bummer. The sticker is bubbling, and it appears that someone tried to clean it off with a wet cloth after they were finished. Smh, this is the second time I've gotten used tools from Amazon. Maybe for my next project, I'll just order a bunch of stuff from Amazon right before the weekend I'll be working on it, then clean them up and return them like everyone else.
Before this falls apart, I'll be long gone.
There isn't much to say about this square other than the fact that it is "square" and will remain so. The book is well-made and easy to read.
