This is an excellent carpenter square. I compared it to a larger starret on a machinist granite slab that I know is square. There was only one of them. a gap of 0005" The 4" carpenter square complements the smaller 2" square nicely. Both are well-machined and have a beautiful finish. My only gripe with DFM is that they only make limited runs of items, so once they're gone, they're gone forever. If you're interested, you should act quickly.
It's very light and serves a unique purpose. For framing, this isn't a good idea.
Both sides of the heel are the same size, with a 1/4" difference in size.

In the United States, a square-shaped tool with a nice appearance? What good is a square that isn't quite right, especially when it's only 4 inches long? Because you must extend the 0. , the holes are useless. The pencil's 9mm lead is over 1/4" long and breaks off with minimal movement when it reaches the workpiece's surface through the triangle. The only positive thing I can say about it is that it appears to be well-designed; thanks!.
I saw this mini square used by one of the youtube woodworkers and liked the pin system, but it was always out of stock when I looked. I noticed they had it, so I ordered it along with a mini square I needed, and I couldn't be happier. The small size is ideal for the small boxes and toys I make for my kids, and the pin system for laying out angles is incredibly simple to use. I would strongly suggest it. I'm very happy with my purchases from this reputable toolmaker.
To begin with, the square is exactly as it should be, which is fantastic. Second, it's a small square that fits easily into your pocket or tool belt; it's ideal for two-by-four work, but anything larger will require a larger Carpenter square. The construction quality is excellent, and the color is also quite appealing. It fulfills all of my requirements.
It's well-made and extremely practical. It's a little smaller than I expected, but I'm happy with it because it allowed me to square my saws and help me get perfect cuts. It was also very easy to get it up against the blades because of its small size. br>br>For how big it is, it's quite pricey. This, I believe, has as much to do with the precision as the decision made by the US.
This is what I bought to mark miters on narrow pieces of wood like picture frame moldings. To mark narrow pieces of wood, my 12-inch Starrett combination square is too large and awkward. Using my Starrett, I was able to measure both the 45° and 90° angles perfectly (as accurately as I could). I'd prefer it if it came with a sheet explaining how to use the loose pin to mark angles.
This product is fantastic; it's a small square that's ideal for woodworking and fits nicely in your apron pocket. The workmanship is stunning and extremely precise. This product has no flaws in my opinion. I'd buy several of them if I could, but money is tight right now. They may be more expensive now because I bought mine at a discounted price. They are well worth the money given what you get.
DFM TOOLS have a hold on me. br>Absolutely perfect!br>I adore this small square and all of the features it contains. br>Waiting for the larger square to arrive, as well as another item that will arrive tomorrow- I'm really looking forward to it. br>I look for availability on the DFM Tools website almost every day. br>Check them out; their craftsmanship is exceptional and highly valued in the woodworking industry.
This is a fantastic tool to have in your pocket or toolbox. The drilled holes for marking measurements and the ease with which I can make angles are two of my favorite features. It's pretty close to the mark. Please read the size description carefully; this isn't a standard-sized square; it's about 3 inches in diameter, so don't order it expecting a large tool and then complaining that you were "ripped off.
