So, I'm a jerk, and I'm going to admit it

For his birthday, my brother requested a set of telescoping bore gauges, and I thought it would be amusing to get him the worst, most useless, cheapest, and worst set I could find. It turns out that I made a blunder with my decision. These aren't in any way ineffective, cheap, or shoddy. These, it turns out, are actually quite tasty. They're not Mitutoyo or Starrette quality, but they're definitely worth a lot more than the money I paid for them. So, as I previously stated, I am a jerk. That is why I intend to keep these for myself. I guess I'll have to come up with a different way to annoy my brother.

Cheap, useful, and adequate for the price; if you don't expect much more than a basic gauge, you'll be fine with these

Expect nothing near Starrett or Mito quality, but then again, neither is the price; it will be interesting to see how long they last.

The quality of the storage case is poor

This product is only as reliable as the measuring tool you use to measure it; for example, the storage case is made of low-quality pvc and tore before it arrived at my company. It'll do the job, but I'll have to make a new storage case for it.

Gauges bind, springs feel weak, and the material is cheap, so it's not suitable for serious work

Non-professionals can use the telescoping gauges. work that is taken seriously Choose Starrett, Mitutoyo, or Fowler if precision measurements are important to you.

In terms of price, it's pretty accurate. I'm not measuring for NASA, but it'll suffice for my hobby machining.

The case arrived broken, which is unfortunate because the product is fantastic. Every single compartment in the case was broken, so they all fell out when I opened it. Aside from that, they're fantastic.

These aren't high-end watches, but for the price, they're hard to beat. They're a good deal at 23 dollars. If you're new to machining, this is a great place to start.
