This telescopic bore gauge set allows the retractable gauge's pinhole gauge to enter the most pinholes, allowing you to quickly check holes, slots, and recesses up to 6" deep.
The bore gauges are made of carbon steel and have a chrome finish. The Telescoping Gage Set is nickel-plated and has a good side arc, so it will last a long time.

To determine the final hole size, use a bore micrometer or caliper to expand the small hole gauge in the hole to be measured, lock it in place, and then remove it.
The bore measuring tool's spring tension ensures consistent contact pressure and allows it to detect the inner diameter of a hole (or groove). With a knurled locking knob and a knurled holding area, the spring of a telescopic gauge loads.

They are exactly what you would expect. When tested, it was accurate to the thousandths of an inch. Although it is unlikely to last your entire career, it is reasonably priced.

The measurements are accurate. The telescoping rods and spring move in a fluid motion. The threads on the locking screw are fine and exact.
