Questions & Answers

It would be helpful if I knew if the specification was plus or mines. The temperature is 2 degrees, but the reading is There should not be a "+ or -" indication for 05 degrees Do you know what 05 degrees means? A high degree of accuracy is required. ?

Specifications on their website state that readings are in units of The accuracy is +- 05 degrees in 05 degree increments You will need 2 degrees for this. In case you need more than one. This isn't precise enough for you, as it is only 2 degrees.

Can you tell me what kind of battery it takes?

There are nine (9) volts in it

I have a bubble level but the digital level does not match it. Why?

It's difficult to say how far away the cube is because we don't know how far it is. Ensure your bubble level is accurate (which it is, most likely). To make sure you have the right one, go to a store and buy a new one. A calibration can be performed on the cube. 1) Place it on a level surface that is known and proven to be stable. 3) Press and hold the power button and the ZERO button together for 5 seconds until you see Wait for the "1" to flash before moving it. 3) Turn the cube 90 degrees clockwise and press the ZERO button. There will be a screen that reads If the "2" flashes, then it is not safe to move. 4) Rotate the cube another 90 degrees clockwise and press the ZERO button. This will be displayed on the screen as It is not safe to move it until the number 3 flashes. 5) Turn the cube another 90 degrees clockwise and press ZERO again. There will be a screen that reads When the flashing number 4 appears, it is safe to move it. 6) Turn the cube as far as possible to the right and press "Zero.". There will be a screen that reads When the screen displays 0 after 3 seconds, we should get a blank screen. The tool is very precise and is affected by even the slightest shift in placement on each turn, so it may take a couple of tries to get the hang of it.

What are the benefits of buying Chinese goods?

It states the product is made in the USA but I don't see anything about made in China

This is the winner in my book
5/5

Comparing this unit with the accuMASTER cube, I bought both at the same time. It feels much lighter and is much cheaper than the accuMASTER. A second drawback is that the accuMASTER only works to a tenth of a degree instead of hundredths, and it only uses one magnet instead of three. In addition to Baleigh Industrial, which I see as a guarantee of quality, this unit is sold by various other companies as well. You feel that it is substantial when you hold it. Furthermore, being able to measure angles in relation to each other instead of from one angle to the other is absolutely invaluable when it comes to fabrication. As such, it allows you to use it more as a protractor.

A battery that isn't automatically shut off will need to be changed frequently
3/5

In 2017, I bought one of these and have used it to set my bandsaw blades and table saw blades frequently ever since. Although it worked like a charm, there were three critical I have two major complaints 1) There is no backlight, so it's hard to read, and 2) It doesn't automatically turn off (and I rarely remember to turn it off), so almost every time I use it, the battery is depleted. Moreover, since it requires a 9V battery, it is not the cheapest thing to replace on a regular basis. 3) To replace the battery, four tiny screws need to be removed. You've got to deal with that. In light of these three factors, it was simply more economical to purchase one of the MANY competitors that has a back light and is easy to replace In the end, this tool was thrown away.

It seems the temperature is out of whack
4/5

My mind was blown for a while before I realized what I needed to do. It read "ERR" when I first turned it on when I took it home. Support or help is not readily available on line. I had to do the calibration steps and got it working. I pulled it out again to use it later on, and it displayed "ERR. ". After using it, I felt disgusted and put it back in the drawer because I was too busy to do anything else I pulled it out again the next time and it worked fine. ? After the first display of "ERR," it again displayed "ERR". It was a waste of space to put it away so I left it on It was a little while later when I noticed the display displaying I got a clue from it the last time I used it. It is not so cold in my shop when I am not working, maybe 40 degrees Fahrenheit There are 45 degrees in that direction. I set the gauge in front of the heater again when the gauge displayed "ERR". I was able to see the angle after a few minutes. After I used it for a while and stuck it to the pan brake, after a bit when I tried using it again, it read "ERR". Then I put it in my pocket for a bit and it began to work It must have been a really cold brake that had cooled the cube to stupid. As long as you keep it above maybe 55 degrees in my opinion it is okay. Another thing I do not like (or have not fully adapted to) is that when you start going past 90 degrees the display switches to inverted. The display will flip back and forth while you bend past 90 to release the elastic. When you have it clipped to your work, and when you bend slightly more than 90, the display will flip back and forth until it decides what it wants to display. That doesn't sit well with me. Hear Jim's message.

This is the perfect tool for sharpening knives
5/5

The following is a side I also use this if I can not see the bubble level on the short so I just set this on top to get a nice level line. This is the same brand offered on some websites for use with knife sharpeners. In my experience, I do not use the "stop collar" available on other websites with this product. Here are the steps I take instead Firstly, enter 1. Place the stone on the sharpening surface, and let it rest there for a few seconds. * Please note Your cube should be zeroed if it is not Balance the angle cube carefully to the blade stop right in front of the handle (You do not have to be THAT careful, it is almost as big as the cube itself). Once you are satisfied with the angle of sharpening, adjust the Note 5. Every time you replace the stone, repeat this step. Depending on how far you keep the blade off the sharpening table, you might be a fraction off, but you will be the SAME fraction off, regardless of how far you keep the blade off. With every stone, the angle gets farther and farther. I'll just yank this out of my a$$ and tell you if you want to do the math you can sharpen at (digging out another number from I care more about complete precision than I do about perfect accuracy, so I will grind the blade to 85 degrees to get the 16 degree angle you desire.

The blade pitch angle adjustment tool for RC helicopters is great for hobbyists
5/5

I purchased the product to help me adjust the blade pitch angles for my In general, I'm happy with the way it performed. A few specs The dimensions of the square (measured with a digital caliper and scale) are
56 mm wide for all 4 sides (so a perfect square)

This item comes with a vinyl pouch, which includes the 9 volt battery and 1 degree of freezing. Comparing 9volt batteries with other similar products that use button type batteries, 9volt batteries have other advantages, such as being more readily available and lasting longer. They The degree is measured using magnets at both sides and the bottom (no magnets at the top). I like that it measures the absolute angle, so it can do what a regular bubble level can (measure zero degrees relative to the earth), and any angle relative to the earth. The capability to "Zero" on any angle, and measure a relative angle to that zeroed angle, is inherent to the system. It also reads "U. " in the documentation. As it is a "Made Navigational Sensor", it is manufactured in the United States.

Excellent construction of this angle cube
5/5

It is accurate and well designed. My less expensive brand of zero wasn't able to hold a zero correctly so I had to return it. There are no problems with holding zero in this one. A strong magnet is mounted on each side and it is built solidly. There is only one complaint I have the display is not backlit and can be difficult to read in some conditions. I recommend it over others, other than that it is nice.
