Questions & Answers

Are you able to auto-update it The power of The power is on all the time, or does it turn off when the alarm goes off? Several people have complained of a dead battery. ?

turns off automatically when it is not in use. As well as making a race car chassis, I have used it for a variety of other tasks. It has been used once a week for more than a year, and the battery still hasn't been replaced.

A level table saw isn't able to give a true reading on the blade. What should you do?

When you want to measure a door level, you can use the gauge for 'absolute' sea level measurement. A gauge can also be used to measure relative level by simply placing it on the table saw surface, pressing the 'ZERO' button, and placing it against the blade, and the angle of the blade between the table surface and the gauge can be determined.

What is this for? Is it a way to adjust If this shuts off automatically at a certain point, how long does it last?

It was used to adjust my camber, so I will know soon if it's accurate. When I was on the floor, it was pretty level, and it shuts off after a few minutes automatically

To what extent is the data accurate?

This model has a resolution of 0. According to the specs on Amazon, it has a resolution of The resolution of the unit is actually 0. I have the device. Due to only having one decimal place, there are only one degree of deviation. There is an accuracy range of +/- 0.048% in Amazon's specs You will need 2 degrees for this. Unfortunately, I do not have a way to verify Putting the unit on and off a fixed surface has allowed me to check the repeatability. It's been a week since I've done this five times in a row without any changes.

KME Sharpening System is greatly enhanced by this item
5/5

It makes the KME Sharpening System more accurate and convenient to use thanks to its "angle cube". A piece of steel was glued to the top of the stone carrier and I left it there. Magnetic pegs on the 'angle cube' hold it to the stone carrier as I adjust the angle of the KME. In order to move the "angle cube" to the stone carrier, you must first zero the "angle cube" on the KME base. Only the brightness of the display detracts from the overall performance of this "angle cube. " The display is difficult to read in low light, and it is difficult to read if you're not perpendicular to it. The backlight of this device is not functional.

This is dead on
5/5

As I was building my sister's back deck, I needed to make sure I got the angle of the rails right, so I clamped a board to my marks, mounted the digital gauge, and got my angle. On going to my saw, I noticed that the ground on which it was installed was not even. Due to the magnetic properties of the gauge, I put it on the blade itself, then subtracted the angle from the My other digital gives you no options and shows different readings on each placement, but this one gave the exact same reading on every stair or saw I placed it on. I have gravity gages, but they are not as accurate, and gravity gages are not as precise. As for the cons, I have one the buttons are small and the print is small, too. The eyes in my 60s are no longer as good as they once were.

I am not confident about their ability to work on details
3/5

A low battery indicator is absent, so at any time you might have readings that are worthless and not realize it, because there is no way to tell if batteries need to be replaced. It took me a little while to realize the display was a little faded when I was setting the pinion angle. The problem improved after I changed the battery, but I couldn't get the same reading every time. I have an extra Craftsman that has a back light and an LED battery indicator, but it is far too long to fit directly on the axle. Since this one cannot be trusted for high details, I'm going to use 1 2 3 blocks to space it out.

A digital protractor with AccuRemote
5/5

It was about four months ago when I got it and I've had lots of good use out of it since then. I am very pleased with the protractor's accuracy. When I first used my trusty old needle protractor I didn't even know what a quarter of a degree was, ha ha, I think it was some where between the two lines and not much greater than In summary, now that I am aware, I should not give too much attention to those small pieces of information, as they are insignificant for most conduit bending applications as long as all the numbers are within a reasonable range. You should aim for a bend of 5° or less on your conduit. Taking a measurement of degree of angle from something while not being able to see the face of the protractor is another amazing feature of the It can be measured if it is within reach. Turn the tool on, place it in the area to be measured, and press the hold button. After you receive your reading, you can match the angle with the angle you found on your map. As a result, I have used the application many times whenever attempting to match conduit offsets that run off the sides of cat walks and hard-to-see areas that I could not see the face of. Using the old protractor you won't be able to set a zero point, which is also incredibly valuable. No matter what the level of the bending machine, you can compare two bends with one another. Furthermore, the digital display turns over when the tool is flipped 180°, which makes it easier to see the difference between bends. Professional electricians cannot do without a tool such as this one and an Anti Dog tool. In the event that something happened (i. e. if it gets stolen or lost) to this tool, I will have to get another, and soon! The tool does a great job. But since I have already said enough, I will stop here.

It's great to have magnets on three sides! It comes in handy for quick metal fab set up, but for many other things it A similar model I had for more than six years was replaced by this one
5/5

As you can see, the old one has been burned, dropped, and probably still has the second 9 volt battery inside. In short, it doesn't seem like a good idea to treat a measuring device so haphazardly- The display acted up at the end, but the display wasn't any worse for it until the end when we ran into the hiccup. This doesn't look like a crack at all. Picking it up again, he was able to get Also, the price was the same as it was six years ago. As I compared to others, I noticed that a brighter display would be an advantage. There was a magnet on the bottom of what seemed to be the rest. The magnets are on three sides, so there is no guesswork involved. It is just a matter of flipping the tool so you can see it, and then continuing as usual. As far as I knew, this model would be accurate, have good magnets and be.

This is a perfect tough and accurate translation
5/5

My favorite use of this tool is to check front alignment when replacing my front strut assemblies. I have been wanting to get one for a long time and my table saw blade needs to be absolutely perfect. Now that I have it I can't wait to use it even In terms of design, the body of the angle finder is rigid aluminum, has three very strong magnets on its sides, is very intuitive to use, the screen is easy to read, and it provides tighter accuracy than most angle finders. One of the few design issues I see with it is the compartment for the 9v battery, which is attached with My only complaint is that the magnets are not as strong as they should be, so I dropped one and it snapped straight to the side magnets. Apart from that, I am really happy with.
