As a result of my asthma, I use this mask with P100 filters to filter diesel fumes. I only use it for 5 to 1 hour at a time, but I find it to be very comfortable. I really like the quick release feature, and I think everyone should have it. I can keep wearing the 'Released' mask until I feel the need to tighten it. After the diesel is gone, I can Quick Release until another need arises. I appreciate having this convenience so that I don't have to wear it all of the time when there is a chance of irritation. I don't know what to say about size. I ordered 6502 QR (medium) based on other reviews and the size chart, but it was too big and I couldn't get a good seal. The 6501QR (small) is the perfect size for me. I'm a female with a height of 5'4" and a weight of 160 pounds. I hope this information is useful in determining a person's proper size.
I bought this to replace my cheaper 3M mask because you have to wear it for several hours at a time. On this mask, the rubber is somewhat stiff; My other 3m mask is better because the rubber has a lower durometer and is a little more flexible (this feels more like pvc versus silicone). As a result, this one leaves a lot more "face lines" and makes you feel uneasy. My other mask has a lower profile on the bridge of my nose, which means it doesn't interfere as much with glasses, goggles, or face shields. br>br>The quick temporary release is gimmicky, and the mask is uncomfortable when not in use; I take it off if I don't use it for more than 10 seconds. br>br>However, the mask works well in terms of filtering and safety. Even though I usually have 5 days of stubble, I still get a good seal.
For xrays and a breathing treatment, I went to Urgent Care. I was fortunate not to have chemically induced pneumonia, according to the doctor. That frightened me to death, so I ordered this respiratory system right away. This thing is incredible! It's incredibly simple to take a step back and remove it from your face thanks to the quick release latch. It's surprisingly comfortable to wear, and it creates a perfect seal around my mouth and nose. This is a mask that I would highly recommend! Because I have a small nose, I ordered a Small, which fits perfectly. With a quick pull on the straps, it can be easily adjusted. I also ordered the 3M 60921 cartridge to go along with it.
This was something I was really hoping would work. One thing they neglected to mention is that it does not include filters. This is only for the mask; it does not include the filters required to use it. So I tried it on, thinking it was a one-size-fits-all item, only to discover that it comes in a variety of sizes. These details should be prominently displayed in the item's description. I returned the item because I was dissatisfied with it. I thought I was getting a good deal, but it turned out to be a huge letdown.
It was a gift for my boyfriend, so I had to get it for him. I like to make fishing lures out of soft plastic. Plastisol, an organic vapor, is used in the process. & I can assure you that nothing but fresh air can be smelled while wearing these! br>The masks are soft and pleasant to wear. It was the perfect fit. br>I purchased two of them, one small and the other large. br>Just to let you know that the small one is very small, I have a small child of my own. It's a ish head, and it's perfect for me! br>However, before you buy, double-check the dimensions. br>When you need a drink of water, the quick release is ideal, and you can snap them back on when you're ready to go. br>Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. Although it is extremely well made, it is a little on the pricey side for these. the cartridges, but honestly, it's well worth it to keep you safe! br>My only minor quibble is that I wish there was a catch to keep the excess strap that hangs when you adjust it to your face in place. br>Apart from that, I highly recommend this item!.
Yes, you read that correctly; she has been in this situation for as long as we can recall. We haven't been able to find any other options yet, but we did find a recommendation for these on a few websites that deal with Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Disorder. For those who live in areas where contaminants such as acetone or ammonia, etc. are present, using this mask in conjunction with specific filters can make a significant difference in breathable air. br>br>So far, everything has gone well. She can at least put this on while the drug addicts upstairs smoke, burn, or cook whatever garbage they want. She puts it on while watching TV or when she is lying down in her bedroom. For this type of issue, it is recommended that you order the 3M P100 Respirator Cartridge/Filter 60926 pair. Also, because they won't last indefinitely, you should order them as a subscription. If you store the mask with the filters attached in a plastic bag and close it when not in use, once a month replacement should suffice for moderate use. This will protect the filters from unnecessary contamination while they are not in use, extending their useful life. br>br>Also, when receiving the filters monthly, make sure they are in their original 3M sealed bags and that they are used within a reasonable time frame based on the expiration date on the package. If either of these two items is incorrect, return them for a replacement or refund. They're unlikely to perform as expected, and they should have been sold and distributed as a viable product in the first place. br>br>We live in a medium-sized city with a high concentration of drug-related problems. Drugs have become more difficult to combat in Senior Housing over the last five years. It is an ideal situation for both cooks and sellers. It's difficult to track because few people would suspect a Senior Independent Living building, and if some of the apartment residents die as a result of the fumes, there's nothing to worry about because most people assume that older people die frequently. br>br>All I can say about this situation is that it has gotten worse over the last five to ten years. It's also important to remember that today's 60 and 70-year-olds were yesterday's late teens and twenty-somethings during the late 1960s and 1970s drug revolution. When people get older, they don't usually change all that much. Our grandparents and great grandparents from that era and before were the stereotypical old lady or old man. Get used to it because this is the new American reality.
It was a good investment. This face mask is fantastic, and I'm currently using it with NIOSH P100 2297 filters. My face is narrow, and it forms a tight seal around it. It's simple to latch, adjust, and remove. When the air quality is poor due to forest fires or smog, this device comes in handy. Filters for the P100 2297 are available separately. br>br>.
