This seals around my glasses quite well. They're quite large, but they fit into the mask without difficulty. The mask fits over the stems fairly well, but because I wear wire frame glasses, the frames are only 0. 1 mm thick (0.04 in) In addition, I wear a "3M Peltor Over the Head Earmuff" that presses the frame against my skin.
The Underwater Kinetics 3AAA eLED® Vizion Headlamp is great. I've had mine for 4 years and it hasn't worn out or broken. The company is still going strong. It's even possible to remove the led light module. to be used as a camping light
Yes, but it's probably a little excessive. Because I do all of my turning outside, I just use a plastic shield, but this would work as well.

FILTERS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS PRODUCT! br>If I took the time to read all of the comments- Especially the feedback with one, two, and three stars- I would have discovered that when a person wears glasses, the face mask does not seal properly. I would have also discovered that this respiration mask does not come with any filters. That makes sense on one level- The customer should buy filters that are specifically designed to deal with the hazards of the environment in which they will be working. It does not make sense, however, that a warning about the lack of filters is not included somewhere near the top of the product description (in bold and caps). The mask appears to be of good quality in general. The achilles heel of the product, according to some reviewers, is the mask's head straps. Those straps need to be able to connect and disconnect quickly. The straps may be overstretched when putting on or taking off the mask if it lacks a quick connect/disconnect feature.
This is not a genuine 3M product for use in the United States.

I don't think it could be any smaller, but it doesn't feel cramped. I am 6' tall with a large head (size 8) and wear a size 8 cap. br>br>I like how this respirator covers my face and feels secure without being uncomfortable. I couldn't get the half masks to stay on my face, especially when I was sweating. This full face mask is very comfortable and stays in place. I waited far too long to get it, and it will make all of my projects on our 110-year-old house a lot easier. I've included some photos from a tyvek suit review. br>br>Edit 12/27/2020: br>br> I was going through some of my older reviews and noticed that some of the more recent reviewers were receiving non-US 3M faceplates. This was my 2017 purchase. The full faceplate has been approved by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) in the United States. My straps are still holding the faceplate in place after almost four years. I should have mentioned that filters are not included with this faceplate and must be purchased separately. More photos of my original box, as well as a statement about NOISH, have been added. For what it's worth, I believe I purchased mine from Amazon, which sold and shipped it.

The visor on this mask never fogs up, which I really appreciate. br>Can be used with any 3M filter, including chemical, vapor, and plain P100s. br>** WARNING ** When changing filters, there is a pink rubber ring gasket that goes underneath the filter at the attachment point. It can stick to an old filter and be thrown away with it. I was fortunate enough to be able to recover mine from the trash - I found out the hard way. br>Buy extra visor covers if you're going to use it for painting. These are fantastic thin plastic sheets that cling to the visor and provide excellent visibility. For $15, you can get a pack of 10/20. No, a cling wrapper will not suffice - It's obstructing my vision - But it'll do in a pinch if you don't have any covers on hand when you're painting. br>If you look after it properly, it will last you for many years.
I previously used high-end 3M throw-away dust masks and now use cyclones to remove dust. Even with a short beard, the fit is good, and I rigged a wire harness to hold a pair of glasses because wearing them allowed air leakage and pressed the arms into the side of my face.
This item was purchased for a mineral wool insulation removal project that I was attempting on my own. The insulation was very old and had a lot of fine particulates in it. I was wearing my 3M half mask respirator on the first day of removal and didn't have a Tyvek cover suit, so I must have picked up some contamination. Some particulate got into my lungs, and I coughed for four days. br>br>I said, "Let's not do it again. " So, after doing some research, I decided to purchase this one as well as a few of the white tyvek cover suits. The mask appears to be effective. There is no fogging, and it is a reasonable amount of comfort. It's also simple to obtain a good seal. Since I started using it, I haven't had any chest irritation. When I'm finished for the day, I wipe the mask clean. Some mineral wool dust gets trapped under the edges of the extra plastic eye protector, so if you need that extra protector, plan on peeling it off to get a thorough cleaning. You can get expensive wipes from 3M or less expensive generic brands for wiping, but I just use leftover baby water wipes, which work fine. A difficult-to-clean area can also be found near the air exhaust port. I wipe it down as best I can, but a moist pipe cleaner would be a good tool for getting rid of dust in that area. br>br>Because I am a medium-sized woman, I ordered a medium-sized mask, which fits perfectly. I also purchased a medium-sized Tyvek suit, which fits snugly into the mask's gasket.
Working on my house, doing drywall and crawlspace work, was a nightmare for me. and it's terrible, but this mask using only basic filters (e. g. , 60923HB1- C) makes such tasks a lot easier. I never get anything in my eyes (even when working with fiberglass insulation or sanding drywall mud), and I don't even notice it (it's more comfortable than any half mask or glasses I've tried). You'll notice it makes your head bigger if you have to put your head in a really tight space, but it hasn't stopped me from doing anything so far. I strongly advise any amateur or DIY enthusiast to purchase one of these and stop working around or putting up with subpar safety equipment. I can easily spend an entire day in my crawlspace and still feel fantastic when I emerge. btw, I am a well-proportioned male who is slightly shorter than average, and a medium fits me perfectly, despite having never tried a small or large.
