A set of 3M P100 filters will do the trick. When it comes to woodworking, I use the 2091 model. The P stands for particulate filtering and the 100 indicates that it filters 100%. I use a paint set of filters, such as the 3M 6001, for anything with fumes, such as finishing.
This one is made of silicone, which forms a tight seal against your face, making it more comfortable and long-lasting. This is the one to get if you plan on wearing it frequently or for an extended period of time.
I use full-coverage goggles, which I find to be quite comfortable. The respirator, on the other hand, is always put on first.
Every mask size has room for improvement.

ONE OF THE MOST COMFORTABLE DESIGNS AVAILABLE. SILICONE, SOFT, WITH SIMPLE FEATURES THAT DO NOT CAKE UP IN THE SHOP WITH SAW DUST. THIS MASK IS AMAZING, but most of that is covered by other reviews and the 3M description. COMFORTABLE FIT AND QUICK RELEASE. br>br> The soft silicone face mask adapts to a variety of facial shapes. This one (LARGE) is big enough to fit on my big mug comfortably. So too small isn't an option for me, and medium isn't an option either. Masks that fit over the bridge of my nose are my favorite. Remember that the quality of customer service, as well as the shipping and packaging, aren't as important. WHAT MATTER IS. br>br> WHERE DO YOU PUT IT? br>br>In this case, it's all about fit and size. Compare the measurements of your face to those in the photos. MEASUREMENTS WITHIN THE (LARGE) MASK: br>br>MEASUREMENTS WITHIN THE (LARGE) MASK: br>br>MEASUREMENTS WITHIN THE (LARGE (as seen in the photos)br>br>Height: width: 4 1/2" (inches)br>height: 4 1/2" (inches)br>length: 4 1/2" (inches)br>height: Great Mask, 3 1/2" (inches)br>br> Amazon has it for a great price. (However, after doing all of this research, I decided to go with this one instead of the 3M 6503QL because it fits a little better and has less detail on the front to catch and trap sawdust. )br>br>HOW DOES IT FIT. Make sure your measurements are correct. I tried on a few masks before returning the ones that didn't fit properly. (I had to pay for shipping on the third-party ones that were "not" purchased from Amazon, and I had to pay for return shipping on one that was purchased from Amazon. ) ) So, buyer beware: try to get the right fit the first time around, and buy a size larger than you think you need. To make things easier, I tried to include photos with measurements. This is the mask that I am most at ease in. It's a LARGE size, and it comfortably fits over my bridge of nose. This is the best mask I've ever worn in my 30 years of wearing them.
One of the most effective half-face respirators available. It may be a slightly softer rubber than the 6500QL I have in terms of comfort and usability; comfort may be slightly better, but not significantly so. However, the inlet valves on this mask appear to be of higher quality and design than those on the 6500QL. The silicone rubber on the inlet and outlet of the 7500 is the same (unlike the 6500QL, which appears to be of different material), and the attachment point is airtight, preventing humid breath from returning to the filters (unlike the 6500QL, which has a slight gap). br>In terms of how they got there, I recommend performing a negative pressure seal check (inhale while blocking inlets). When I checked the pressure on both of these 7500, there was a small leak somewhere. This did not happen on my 6500QL of the same size, and I investigated by disassembling the mask into its three main parts (internal and external plastic, as well as the rubber) and finding nothing. However, when I reassembled and retested them, they were completely sealed. I assume they were jostled during shipping or were not fully clipped together for some reason, but reassembling them fixed the problem completely. There don't appear to be any flaws in the production process.
I purchased this mask after becoming frustrated with the discomfort of the cheaper beige 3M respirator. You can find it in the paint section of Home Depot. It was extremely uncomfortable to wear that thing for any length of time, and it caused significant discomfort to the bridge of my nose. This mask is incredible. br>br> The face piece is extremely soft and supple, and it contours to your face far better than the cheaper alternatives. This is the most comfortable respirator I've ever worn, and it's a great price. br>br>I bought both a Medium and a Large, and I was surprised to find that the Large isn't as big as you might think. I'm not particularly tall, but the Large fits above the bridge of my nose without hurting or compressing my face as much as the Medium does. My wife can wear the medium without issue, but I find the Large to be a more comfortable fit. If you're unhappy with how tight the mediums can fit in these masks (I'm a male, 5'7 and 145 pounds), I'd recommend giving it a try over the medium unless you have a very small face.
br>br>Don't worry, I called 3M and they said they don't seal them to keep moisture out, so it hasn't been tampered with. br>br>It came with instructions, and the picture on the Ziploc is of excellent quality, indicating that it is not a forgery. br>br>I purchased the 2078 air filter, which is an off-the-shelf model. The color white has a p95 rating, which is slightly higher than the n95 rating. It's marked with a P, indicating that it's oil-proof. Also, unlike the higher-quality pink filter, you won't attract attention while shopping. br>br>It has a slight odor when it first arrives, so air it out or wash it. br>br>For the majority of men, I would suggest the large mask. br>I am a 50-year-old woman. year- I'm a 200-pound male who's been around since I was a kid. The medium's straps would have been insufficient. br>br>There is a slight learning curve when it comes to tightening or loosening the neck straps for the back of the head and the top of the head. Unlike the $28 trend woodworking mask, which I also like, you can see the seal on your face and know that no outside air is getting in. If you're concerned about the corona virus, this is an excellent mask to use. br>br>What I like best about it is that it maintains a constant temperature. br>br>The simple technology for exhaling your breath works extremely well, and people can hear you as well. Air does not enter through the exhaust. br>br>I'm not sure if it's comfortable to wear for 8 hours; after an hour, I could see marks on my face when I removed it. In about 15 minutes, they were gone. br>br>Overall, I'm very pleased, and I've already placed an order for a second.
