This mask has different cartridges, some of which are for toxic gases, which I believe is more than enough and surpasses what the N95 can do. It is not disposable, and the mask is rubber with no need for fitting, check valves for positive breathing, and it must be cleaned.
Almost identical The main distinction is that the 7500 series is entirely made of silicone. It doesn't matter if your voice is muffled; all you have to do is speak up. 3M's Techline can be reached at 800-3M-TECHLINE. 243- If you need help, call 4630. Thank you very much.

It does the job, but the clip on the back is a pain to use. br>br>Be aware that there is a distinction between this "6502" and the "6502QL" version, which includes a quick-release mechanism. I was looking for a latch feature, and this was it. In my opinion, the 7500 series, or 7502, is more comfortable and seals my face better.
NOTE: The "head-" can be adjusted in length. If the straps are too tight against your face, cut them off. Because the strap is continuous on both sides, all you have to do is gently pull some slack through the mask attachment point(s). br>I ordered a large because I thought the medium was too small. It had the same problem, so I examined the straps more closely. I got a perfect fit by adjusting the medium mask's size. I returned the large size. br>I'm going to order another mask because I really like this one.
Very let down. I ordered two masks, both of which arrived open. I noticed that the masks had been worn after a closer look. Both masks had oil marks from a face on the inside, and one had a very visible thumb print. I live on the west coast and needed these for an emergency because the air quality is dangerous due to the fires.
When this item arrived, it was obviously used. The bag was scuffed and scratched, but it wasn't a major issue. The mask itself was encrusted with blue glitter and housed a bizarre Christmas ornament.
Cloth face masks aren't very effective at protecting the wearer from Covid, but I accept that if everyone wears them, it helps the group. br>br>This face mask not only solves but also creates a problem. This face mask is great for long periods of time because it fits snugly enough to prevent your glasses from fogging up. When I need to, I can put it on for hours. I paired it with genuine 3M 2097 filters (pink, sold separately) for protection against airborne Covid virus. These filters are rated as P100, which means they block more particles than N95 masks while being VERY EASY TO BREATHE through. It's a lot easier to breathe through this than it is to breathe through a cloth face mask. When a face mask, even a cloth face mask, restricts their normal breathing, some people experience anxiety or unnatural breathing. br>br>The one issue with this type of mask, which may or may not be an issue for you, is that it muffles my voice significantly, making it difficult for others to hear me. Most of the time, this isn't a big deal because I don't need to talk to people much when I'm wearing it. br>br>The mask has a nice rubber seal all the way around the edge, which seals well enough. Attaching the filters only takes a quarter turn. It's simple, but make sure you turn them all the way to the left to keep them in place. If you want to, you can put a baseball hat over the mask's head strap. br>br>There is a downward-facing exhaust port that makes it easy to exhale, but even if you taped that over, this mask is comfortable to wear. I suppose it depends on the filters. This mask can be used with a variety of filters. To meet my needs (corona virus defense without fogging glasses), I went with the P100 rated 3M 2097 filters. Spray painting, smoke, smog, and air pollution would all benefit from those filters. br>br>While this mask is not as easy to put on or remove as a cloth ear loop mask, it performs far better and, most importantly, does not fog my glasses, allowing me to see clearly where I'm going. It's far more secure. Of course, the right filters can help you save your health, and possibly even your life.
This is only the second respirator I've ever used in my life, but when compared to the first, it's a dream come true, in a league all its own. The other came from a low-cost Mexican brand called "Surtek," and it was awful! br>br>It was quite comfortable, though I did want to take it off after about two hours of wearing it. br>br>I saw another 3M respirator with a fastening device or mechanism, but this one does not. This one, on the other hand, appeared to provide more comfort, so I chose it instead, and I was not disappointed. br>br>It appears to have been a wise investment.
I had a couple of friends tested for tear gas in the field, and they passed (with a coarse filter).
Except for the straps, the strap closure configuration, and the head strap, it appears to be durable. They appear to be very flimsy, and it's unclear whether they'll be able to withstand daily use and handling. I had anticipated a thicker strap. The straps are not held together by a bent piece of plastic. The head strap also appears to be a little flimsy. If this unit can last three months, I'll be satisfied. Not much to say at the moment, but time will tell. I'm hoping this isn't another case of "you get what you pay for. " " I would expect more from a 3M product, regardless of whether it is made in China or not.
