I'd focus on your face shape rather than your height. I'm a petite woman with a broad nose and a chin that is narrow. I was able to wear the small. However, it also fit a 6'2" lanky guy (ok, but not very comfortably). So, if you have a large bone structure or a plump face, go for the larger sizes. It's possible that you'll need to order two and return one if it doesn't fit properly.
No, this mask only comes with one set of filters and a set of cartridges.
Sure, it is possible. It is equipped with charcoal-filled cartridges that allow you to spray without being harmed. You can always go to 3M's Global Gateway website and type in the part number if you need more information. They're stuffed with technical documents and brochures of every kind.
I'm not sure when to replace them, but they're basically getting clogged up with particles, and you'll need to replace them once you notice a restriction in your breathing. Because 3M sells you the filters, I'm sure they'd recommend something more frequently. I've had my filters installed for a while, but I don't use them all the time. This is a copy of something I found on the internet for the P- a hundred filters: br>Filters will last five years from the date of manufacture if they are kept unopened in their original packaging. They should be replaced after six months (even if they have not been used) once they have been removed from their packaging, according to Australian/New Zealand Standards. I'm not sure about Covid. Once a month, perhaps. In terms of covid, we're all in unknown territory. Keep yourself in good shape.

I chose the small size respirator (7501) after reading several reviews from people who purchased the larger sizes (7502 and 7503) and wished they had gotten the small instead. Besides, for some reason, the small version on Amazon was half the price (less than $17) of the medium and large versions (around $35). br>br>However, when I tried it on, I encountered the following issues, which were also mentioned by other reviewers: My eyeglasses were pushed so high that I couldn't see straight because the silicone portion of the mask collapsed on my face, the force on the bridge of my nose was painful, and my eyeglasses were pushed so high that I couldn't see straight. This was due to the elastic strap being cut to a length suitable for a small head, whereas my head is large. The strap was still too short and pulled the mask too tightly onto my face, distorting it, even when it was set to its longest length. br>br>It fits me perfectly when I don't use the strap and just hold the mask against my face. My glasses are centered in the lenses and are positioned behind the nosepiece. As a result, I went out and purchased a one-bedroom apartment. a half-yard piece of black For about a dollar, I bought a one-inch wide elastic strap from WalMart's sewing department. I added 4 inches of slack to each of the four adjustment points by cutting the new strap in half, one piece for each side of the mask. To keep the loose threads at the strap ends from unraveling, I melted them with a lighter. I've finally figured out how to adjust the mask so that it's both comfortable and effective. br>br>This respirator does not include filters because there are many different types to choose from, depending on your needs. I only need a dust filter for a wood shop, and any of the pancake filters, such as the 3M 2097 or 2297, will suffice. According to one reviewer, he had to purchase extra parts to adapt his filter to the mask, but these pancake filters simply fit into the side ports. Continue to twist a little as you press on. br>br>Overall, I am pleased. Given the 50% discount on the 7501, replacing the strap was well worth the effort. I deducted one star for the amount of effort required to make it work.
Will be ideal for smoke from wildfires. I'd been working on projects with my husband's older medium mask. With the last two weeks of heavy wildfire smoke, I decided to get my own, and instead of the all-in-one, I went with the all-in-one. I switched to the lighter 2071 pancake filters for general use. I haven't had the opportunity to test it in smoky conditions yet, but I will do so soon. I'm a 5'10" female who weighs 170 pounds and has a medium-sized face and head, and a small fits me perfectly, though the straps could be a little longer. I was able to get it to work after a little tinkering. The exhale valve is angled downward, which makes it suitable for use with a Covid mask. It fits both my prescription safety glasses and my regular glasses perfectly. br>Filter media is not included; you will need to order it separately.
It's very comfortable to use for extended periods of time. I'm an ER doctor, and I use it in my COVID-related work. 19 pts.
The small size was ideal for me. Even working in a heat wave, the mask was more comfortable than I expected; it slightly bruised the bridge of my nose, but I had it on for many hours a day for several days and now have an extra prominent bridge. It was great not to get a noseful of potentially dangerous dust while cutting plaster; it's easy to put on and take off, and the round filters lock in securely, so you can feel safe. It can be worn under a face shield or even in a bee suit. When used correctly, this is a fantastic tool. Keep in mind that a mask will not work if it does not fit snugly.
Attaching and removing filters is a snap. It's simple to change the settings. This is something I wish I had purchased years ago. I can definitely tell a difference, and I no longer have sawdust in my nose when I leave the shop. br>In terms of fit, I am a 30-year-old woman with a large head. I ordered a medium but had to exchange it for a small. The medium was too big for my face in general, and the top of the respirator rubbed against my eyes. The small was the perfect size for me, and once I got the straps adjusted to fit my face, I forgot I was wearing it.
It's surprisingly comfortable, and I'm not bothered by wearing it. I've used it with the P100 filters, and it's amazing how much better the air quality is! I wore it while sanding shelves because the dust was irritating my lungs before I put it on. Then I applied it to the shelves before applying polyurethane to finish them. The stuff stinks, but I couldn't smell it at all because I was wearing the mask! This is fantastic. Because I'm sensitive to odors, especially toxic ones, I find myself reaching for this frequently when working on household projects.
