You only have a short time to use the mask once the bag has been opened. Regardless of the expiration date, if the bag has been open for years, the mask has long since expired. Do not wear that mask if you're working with hazardous paints or other volatile chemicals. Don't put your life and lungs on the line for $20; are your lungs worth that much to you?
ORGANIC VAPORS will be filtered by this. As a result, no, it is not going to happen. The molecule O3 is only slightly larger than the molecule O2 (the oxygen we need to breathe). There is no way to filter this out with a mask. It would also have to cut off the oxygen supply. You'd need a system that brought fresh air into your workspace from the outside.
This is not an appropriate response! These masks are used to apply automotive paints, primers, clear coats, and chemical washes. They perform admirably. I'd feel perfectly safe spraying a UV Protecting coat with this mask, which I believe is what "Mr Super Clean" is. br>However, that is an "opinion" without qualification.
When I'm working with epoxy resin, I use this. I'm guessing it works with other fumes as well, but I'm not sure.

I got this respirator because I work with alcohol inks in my art, and the alcohol is harmful to my lungs. Hazardous VOCs were released by canned air. This mask does a fantastic job of removing them. It's light and actually comfortable, and it's safe for my lungs. The filters do wear out on this unit, so I'll need to invest in a more permanent respirator with replaceable filters at some point. However, this is an excellent place to begin.
I make epoxy tumblers and was looking for a PPE mask to use while doing so. I decided to give this one a try before investing in the reusable one, and I think I'll keep using it and replacing it as needed because of the value and comfort. Because I can't smell anything while it's on, it's perfect. It does leave a horrifying mark on my nose, but I'm willing to pay that price for safety.
I use these on a daily basis and they are fantastic. br>I am an average-sized man and the small works best for me. With a medium or large, I have difficulty getting a good seal. br>If you want dust covers for them, you'll have to purchase them separately. br>br>They come in a resealable bag that can be used to store them after they've been used. br>Make sure you do this so the charcoal filters in the mask last longer.
I was astounded to discover that, while all of the local home improvement stores sell the chemicals and solvents that require protective equipment, none of them had a good mask selection. I went to Amazon to make a purchase, and I'm glad I did! I've been working in various stinky/dangerous fumes since getting this mask. Also, breathing through these fantastic filters is a real pleasure! This mask comes highly recommended. The cost of protecting your lungs is well worth it. Sidebar: I ordered mine from SIMS Supply, and it arrived in a day and a half, so they must be magical ninjas!.
I'm guessing it saved my life, but I won't know for a long time. Isn't that how it works with everything? But seriously, knowing that the liquid nails I was working with were extremely odorous and that I couldn't detect even a whiff inside my respirator, even in a very confined space, made me feel great. The only disadvantage was that I became extremely sweaty, but I'd rather that than inhaling chemicals all day. The clasps are simple to use, and the fit is good for the amount of protection it provides.
I'm not sure about the fit of this respirator; I'm not sure if I want to use it/ if I have to return it; there are no pre filters; I'm not sure if I need them; if I wear the mask- I won't be able to see what I'll be doing on the table because I only work with non-toxic resin and alcohol inks, as well as some acrylics; it's just a hobby for me.
This is a high-quality half-mask. It's simple to install and use. The only issue is that the filters are permanent, so when they stop working, the entire unit must be discarded. This is why I gave it a four-star overall rating and a four-star value for money rating.
