There is no component in this kit that will fit a Fimco 5151087 pump. As far as the construction is concerned, it looks good There seems to be enough strength in the plastic. There are however slight differences in diameter between them Fimco OEM It does not matter how much lubrication and muscle you have, they will not fit into the Fimco 5151087 quick connect port. As for how they will operate, I am certain they will fit the devices they will be used with just fine.
It took quite a bit of effort for me to fit 2 of the 4 ribs into a fuel tube that was 3/8". It's only a matter of time before we learn if it is successful.
I am close, but I am having difficulties.
My pumps were not compatible with them, so I had to sand them down.
These are NOT NPT threads, despite the description stating that they are. There are no curves to them.
The thread on my water pump is smaller than 1/2", not 1/2" NPT.
A replacement is not an exact match. It was necessary to reduce the diameter in order to.
