Do you know if the inside diameter is How big does this hose have to be for my 3/4" inner diameter? My goal is to prevent it from impeding the flow of the river. ?

A diametrical distance on the outside. The hose fits into the 11/16 fitting so that it can fit inside a In that case, the inside diameter is 20 mm. Nine sixteenths. It is a tad bit restrictive but it won't be noticeable to you.

Do it fit a hose with an inside diameter (ID) of 3/8" if the barb size is ?

this makes for a very tight fit on a 3/8-inch hose. I put my hose on a silicone one and warmed it up to help stretch it a bit.

Are you going to need a clamp?

In the case of a press inset fitting to a hose, it will depend on its tightness. The correct size and type of stainless hose clamp is what I recommend personally

There's a hose that comes out of a 1" hose that needs to be attached to the garden hose. The same can also be achieved via adapters, whichever is less expensive. Would you be so kind as to tell me what I need?

The problem is the 1" hose, for which there are no fittings, adapters, or repair kits available. I watched the hoses for about half an hour before giving up. As far as I could tell, everything starts at 3/4" and progresses It was my displeasure not to be of assistance. There are a lot of pieces to this I will return your call as soon as I resolve the problem.

This is an extremely well-made, machined, thick, and heavy duty product

- Exercising the right muscles - I have never used a product as good as this. is a very high level of professionalism and competence Ultra-thin, machined brass, made from one piece With the use of a good genuine rubber washer and a good locking nut, these fittings will remain tight With a new solution that is often many times better than the hose fittings that come with brand new garden hoses, a gear stainless steel clamp will create a leak proof garden hose. My past use of replacement fittings has been limited to maybe half a dozen different types of fittings, made by other manufacturers. The fitting in this case, though thinner, was exceptionally sturdy, durable, and effective, and none of them could even come close to it. In addition, the hexagonal nut on this fitting allows you to tighten it easily with a screwdriver Ideally, you should use a fixed wrench to avoid marring or rounding this nut, but you can also use pliers or a screwdriver to accomplish the task. Regularly replacing gear clamps) is a must. The washers and clamp that come with this fitting are not included. It is not included in the package. If I buy a new hose, I will remove the original male fitting that comes with it and replace it with the It's that good, that's for sure! A similar fitting from Lowe's made of solid brass is lighter and thinner, but it's not quite as thick and heavy It is especially barbed at the

Use genuine rubber washers and a stainless steel worm-drive if you want to make sure your worm-drive is in good shape A gear clamp with the appropriate diameter (such as between 5/16" and 7/8") should be used. It may be helpful to warm the cut end of the hose in hot (but not boiling) water in order to soften it so that this fitting will slide more easily into it. You might also need to stir in a little soap into the hot water if needed. As you install the Anderson fitting, make sure that you cut the old fitting on your old hose 'square' to ensure that the barb of the fitting is covered equally on all sides.

For good results, make sure the barbed end of the fitting is slid into the hose fully. Make sure that the compression worm gear band is sufficiently tightened around the hose so that the ends of the barbed fitting are covered by the band. If your new fitting leaks for any reason, make sure you have a quality washer in good condition (a new genuine rubber washer is best) in the female fitting that this male fitting is attached to. You may also want to try moving the worm gear compression band to a new location on the barbed end of the fitting and re-installing it Put a good amount of pressure on the clamp. There is a note that this fitting is designed for use with garden hoses, but not with

Please note that these fittings are only available in 'male' styles. There is also a two-piece female brass garden hose fitting made by Anderson Metals, which can be bought from Amazon. It is not a one-piece fitting but is in two pieces (with the part connecting to the male fitting being allowed to swivel) to allow the fitting to be tightened without the hose twisting and getting kinked. I. I. * P. The Anderson female fitting was sent to me, used, and reviewed, but it was not nearly as well made as the male fitting. I tried this fitting on a second hose today and ran into some issues. I was unable to solve the leaking fitting no matter where I placed the worm gear clamp, regardless of how much I tightened it, and regardless of how cautious I was about cutting Where the new fitting met the top of the cut hose, the hose began to leak. Having fiddled about with the hose and the fixture for awhile, I realized I was doing something wrong. This was caused by a longitudinal ridge that and was about 3/16" wide, and ran the length of the hose. This ridge prevented the fitting from being wrapped securely by the inside of the hose, with equal pressure from all sides, and was the cause of the spill. Essentially, this ridge caused a bulge in the hose where the barbed end of the fitting rested inside the hose. A large gap existed between the fitting and the hose on both the left and right sides of this ridge. I noticed that the manufacturer of the hose had stripped away the last 1-mm from the original fitting when I looked at how the hose was attached to the original fitting because the same longitudinal ridge would exist. A 1-inch or so longitudinal ridge was folded off the inside of the hose, leaving a cylindrical bore that was sized so it could attach securely to the original manufacturer's fitting.

I was able to remove the longitudinal ridge that adheres to the wall of the hose at the cut end of the hose for about a three-foot distance using a thin steel bladed screwdriver with a straight slot. After severing this part of the hose and pulling it out, the inside then became smooth and cylindrical after removing the 1/4-inch ridge. It turned out that there were no leaks when I reattached the Anderson fitting and the worm drive clamp. I believe that the ridge inside the hose would need to be removed regardless of the type of fitting that you use. It's not a problem that is unique to the This ridge is built to reinforce the hose, but even the manufacturer had to remove the last 1-inch of it because it did not conform to the last flange. In order for the original fitting to fit properly without leaking, 1/4 inch of the ridge must be removed. In addition, the first hose I used these fittings on (for which I had no leaks) had longitudinal ridges inside it, but they were much smaller. They might have been about 1/32" high and wide, and equally I was able to create a leak proof seal using these fittings without removing the ridges at the end of the hose because they are smaller and evenly spaced.

Keep in mind, too, that the worm gear clamps that you buy should be heavy duty and of good quality, which might not be easy to come by. Though I paid about $1 each for the clamps, the worm gear clamps I originally purchased stripped when I tried to torque them and proved useless.

The clamps I initially purchased were not tight enough to create a leak proof seal, so I had to change the clamps with heavier duty ones that could be torqued without stripping away the metal. It is highly recommended that clamps made by ABA (or other brands of comparable quality) be used, since they are designed to withstand torque without a worm gear. A stripped surface.

Those hoses were repaired well and were of good quality
5/5

My hoses were originally covered by a lifetime warranty, so I ordered these to fix them. So, that's no longer the case. My hoses are many years old and I wanted to get a high quality, machined brass coupling that would last for another twenty That's right! I found To complete the installation, I used a PEX pipe crimp ring. I have a 3/4" hose which is perfect for my 5/8" rings. Those other four sets must be ordered now. Here at Amazon you can find both pipe crimp rings and PEX tools that will help you. A fantastic investment I will continue to use for a long time to come.

It fits a hard to find 3/8" ID hose perfectly
5/5

During the past few weeks, we have developed a leak in the 25 feet coil hose used to water plants on the deck on the back side of the house. I have tried leak repair tape, rubber seal (you know the one they make the boats from), marine two part epoxy, and the combination thereof. There was no repercussions everyone let go after a couple of days. It was a very straightforward process to snug the fitting up in the inside diameter, and it only took a little twisting. Thanks to the sun, the hose was out of the rain. I decided to attach a small worm gear clamp to it as I didn't know if it was necessary. Exactly what I was hoping for! A leak did not occur. Given the fact that a new hose would have cost about $50, it was well worth it.

IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO FIND
5/5

For this size of hose, I have found the lowest price I could find online. The only thing available at the big home supplies outlets of the same quality was in the $10 price range, so I refused to pay that price. They had an alternative product in PLASTIC and it was I prevent myself from buying it due to the cheap quality, as it will end up- Replacements cost more if they need to be replaced frequently! Once you buy one of these high-quality solid brass fittings, you don't have to worry about damaged or out-of-round hose ends due to people stepping on them or running their tires over them. When the hose goes bad, all you have to do is cut the brass fittings out and replace them with the newer ones, which come with flimsy, inferior parts. It is worth the initial investment of $$$$ because, in the end, they will last a lifetime.

The fittings on this hose are much better than the ones that came with it
5/5

It's a great improvement to my cheap Walmart hose with 22 gauge or so formed brass fittings that would buckle if overtightened, stepped on, etc. These fittings are machined brass and therefore much more durable. A solid foundation. These fittings do not come with hose clamps (needed for installation), which is fine, but they cost more than fittings available from local hardware stores.

I like the way you made it
5/5

A solid machined metal hose end, not the thin stamped sheet metal you see most often, is used on this replacement hose end. This version has not only a stronger appearance, but the barbs at the end of the hose are also sharper, thereby making the attachment point no longer susceptible to pulling out during use, and without being so deep into the hose as The appearance of a clamp holding it on may not be ideal for some, who prefer the "neater" look of some fittings that come with smooth screws. Despite the 'industrial' feel, when it comes to quality, especially for the price, you cannot beat this end, especially if you don't mind the look.

The part is made from solid stock and is of high quality
5/5

The setting is made of solid brass. The solid bar stock is machinated in such a way that the edges are crisp and the construction looks like it will last for generations. The big box stores don't carry anything close to what they once carried. These are excellent. I am so glad to have found them.

This is a really good A fitting was made to allow me to pressurize the plumbing of my RV from my air compressor
5/5

One end of the fitting connects to the water inlet, and the other is a quick release It seems like all the water was pumped out of the plumbing in the RV. This seems to be a sturdy piece of equipment.
