I was able to repair a leaky "soaking hose" by using this product

Both soaking hoses (one from Amazon, and one from Despot) came in handy. There was a big leak on each. A circle of approx. 0. 8 mm in diameter fits inside the hose. By cutting the bad section out, and replacing it with the 3/8" version, I was able to reduce the fitting's size by 5 mm. I am glad it worked for you!.

The clamps are made from stainless steel, and the fittings are made from solid brass. lol. What could possibly be wrong with that? If you choose to use a 6mm socket instead of a standard 1/4 inches one, you will need to install the clamps.

I was able to repair my leaking expandable garden hose with this simple fix. My method was to cut the hose at the leak spot, lubricate the fitting with liquid soap to make it easier to fit, and then pull the fabric over and tighten There is only one downside to its cost. It is fairly pricey for what it does.

Because the barbs can't grip rubber, I had to use two clamps to hold one hose and the clamps I took are junk as well. Too tight a clamp can't be applied. There were some barbs that came off the hose even after two clamps were placed on.
