It's not terrible, but it's not fantastic either

They have an attraction to each other. For the money, they're exactly what you'd expect. Such as light cuts. With these cutters, don't expect to go hog wild. I don't think they're solid carbide because they're magnetic.

Use lube if you want to get the most out of your bits

These cut right through 1/4" aluminum 6061 with a little aluminum cutting fluid.

I used these on steel, not aluminum, and they worked great! I used one on about thirty small steel shelves and had no problems, whereas my regular four flute carbide steel bits would catch and break every now and then
