I was not able to test this This does not apply to 2 layer plastic signs

It did not work with 2 layer plastic for sign engraving. On a V Carve bit, my setup works great, but I wanted to try something with a little more width consistency because some of the plastic sheets had a little bow. There is a strong tendency for these bits to break easily. My fault for breaking the tip when zeroing out the Z after setting up the machine. I had barely touched the plastic while touching it. It failed to remove material well and clogged up, melting the second bit as a result. Three, four, and five bits were run at several spindle speeds and feed rates. If you cut too slowly, the material will not melt but it will look After the first few minutes of trimming, the plastic starts to melt. I have air blast setup so I doubt that it is the material on the surface, but rather that the gullet is not deep enough for this particular application and that the plastic is too soft for the speed needed for the The materials probably require a harder setting for these to work. The boards will be tested by me in the future on PCBs, since that is what they are designed to do. I just don't want anyone else to buy them for the wrong purpose.

This is an amazing video This product can last for quite some time if not used at very rapid speeds. My results were excellent with aluminum and I used it for a long-term project The performance was long lasting.

It's worked out well for me. These work smoothly with my Sain Smart 3018 and I highly recommend them. It seems they stay very sharp and don't take any breaks.
