Questions & Answers
In the case of aluminum, it would be a waste. Get a coated HHS 2 flute or a solid carbide and spin it up as fast as your mill will allow and cut away. In response to your question, I've only used it for steel and found it to be excellent; it never clogs and consumes metal much faster than smooth/non-roughing mills. With this one, keep an eye on your stick out and travel speeds; I've snapped them before getting too far into the project.

At 4500 RPM and a speed of 14, the engine broke. 5FPM. after a period of about ten minutes Little to no run out on a CAT40 collet (Er32). I looked into the origins of the tooling. Yes, that's right! I'm hoping Amazon will start displaying product origins. From now on, I'll be sticking with Niagara!.
I had to use an old i bit that I'd had for a long time. Maybe it was just a fluke, but I wasn't overly impressed.
Cuts good.
The only option is to use end mills. The price gouging sides are extremely effective. I have a few different sizes, and they work well and last a long time.
This thing is a steel-eating animal, so I'm sure I'll be buying more.
It worked perfectly!.
At a great price, this end mill is amazing!.
