When I received this end mill, it appeared to be properly ground and sharp. I haven't tried it on mild steel yet, but I believe it would work fine. The cutting action in the center was also quite good. I would buy it again.
It's used to make a final pass (. 010) x . On 6061, there are 75 people deep. The cutter pounded the top edge, leaving a massive burr.
For the price, it's an excellent buy. For the low low price, you get super clean cuts and decent durability.
Not a bad end mill at all. br>I used it to flatten some aluminum and cut some slots. br>With the right speed and feed rate, there was no chatter. br>Would recommend.

It performed admirably in the machining of 6061 and 7075 aluminum. It bites hard and stays sharp for a long time.
