These are basic end mills that can be used for a variety of applications. Unfortunately, the factory does not provide speed and feed information for these end mills.

Is this end mill suitable for plunge cutting? I need to make 1/8-inch deep holes in aluminum. ?

Yes, plunge cuts are possible.

What is the maximum chip load that should be used?

Here's how to do it: Chip Load = (RPM x number of flutes) / Feed Rate (inches per minute). Example: Chip Load = 500 in/min / (15,000 RPM x 2 flutes) Chip Load = 017".

Aluminum and teflon are both good candidates

When I received this end mill, it appeared to be properly ground and sharp. I haven't tried it on mild steel yet, but I believe it would work fine. The cutting action in the center was also quite good. I would buy it again.

There isn't anything sharp about it

It's used to make a final pass (. 010) x . On 6061, there are 75 people deep. The cutter pounded the top edge, leaving a massive burr.
