Questions & Answers
You probably wouldn't expect them to act the way you would. The are modestly priced and are capable of handling mild cold rolls or such, but I would prefer to use something else if I needed an excellent stainless. You can use carbide or even ceramic insert type tooling for high quality work. The mills have proven to be excellent for machining steel alloys, plastics, wood, and even aluminum for the price they cost. The steels used for stainless steels and high chrome steels are hard and require hardeners just as hard or even harder. Once, I had an engine machine shop and a customer had brought me a Mercury Outboard motor that needed sleeves in the piston bores and then it had to be re-assembled Wrap them in a sleeve. They in fact were a "plating" (thick) and could not be displaced thermally or by any other means. After my boring bar was mounted on my drilling bar, I cut out the ceramic inserts with a ceramic insert cutter. As soon as I understood what to do, I was able to use it. In my experience, my tungsten carbide bit would chatter and break when I used it on bores. Please let me know if this helps.
It rarely happens. There are some poor quality parts here.

They are very good and I have been using them for a long time. Naturally, these will not work well on steels with a high carbon content, but they are fine on a wide range of The price was good for what I got.
Ships in a box with a slip case that protects the bits, and each bit is sharp.
This endmill works really well in stainless steel 416 at a really good price. There is just one thing to keep in mind don't go too fast or too slow on the feed cut.
I have quite a bit of experience with 8mm and 10mm on A36 and they seem to cut well and hold up well.
Have not used yet, but they look good quality. They seem well made, good machining, but I have not used them yet.
The cut is easy and the finish is good.
Tools that work well with the Fadal VMC4020.
