Questions & Answers
For this material, just keep an eye on the speed and feed rates. To prevent premature cutter wear, I would start with very light cuts.
If you're trying to cut the top of a ragged bolt flat with a hand drill, I wouldn't recommend it. Endmills are made of a brittle and extremely hard material. They're designed to cut secured pieces in small increments (excess vibration force can chip blades). Make a center point with a punch, then slowly drill out the bolt with a small drill.

Used in three different builds, all of which are very strong and sharp.
Tungsten carbide bit with a handy case that has been beautifully machined. I'm at a loss for what to say. I've been a klutz when it comes to using it in my router table, sending various pieces of stock flying all over the shop. The worst was a small machine vise that I managed to scuff up when it flew away, leaving chatter marks all along the side. However, the bit has served me well, with only a few minor chips in the cutting edge. This serves as a reminder to review my medical records.
It mills out a lot of metal and doesn't dig into or walk into the side; for the price, it's fantastic. It won't last forever, but it's more than good enough to give a nice finish and mill out a lot of metal for one medium project.
They are also manufactured in the United States. I've been able to increase my new bit feed rates for roughing passes by 50% and finishing passes by 100% comfortably increase my new bit feed rates for roughing passes by 10.
Without a doubt, one of my all-time favorite cutters.
They're cheap, and they show up on time.
